Aw thanks snailsareslimy and kidomo. I guess I just think my accent is boring because everyone around me sounds pretty much the same. It is so nice and refreshing to hear a new accent, I don't think there is such thing as a "bad" accent they're all interesting.
Ide like to think that I sound rather like Attenborough... lol

It's been interesting to here other people's accents so I thought it would only be fair to display mine. I'm reading an extract from the Hobbit and I just blab on a bit.

Damn I've listened to it again and I keep on saying eh or erm

Your accent is awesomeee!
This is what it sounds like when a Welsh person tries for all of their life to disguise their accent. Much to my dismay there's something irritating about the timbre of my voice.

As done before in the thread, I'm reading a paragraph from The Hobbit

Your voice is awesome. We should collaborate on a reading of The Hobbit. I do a killer Gollum voice.
You narrate, I'll do the characters?

Ta! My voice has gotten a little softer in conversation because I've had to adapt to all the English folk in Edinburgh not being able to understand my accent when I speak that low and speak quickly.

I am so jelous! Your accent is lovely. :coma:

Yeah I struggle understanding the thick scottish accent but it is one the best accents still. I can just nod and say yes and pretend to understand.

Thank you Hype! I loved yours too, it's really different from what I expected but to be honest it's so much cooler.

We should do! You would be excellent for characters with that deep, Scottish bellow of yours.
It could be the TSR bedtime story thread if we went ahead :teehee:

Everyone expects the pony-man to have a shrill high voice. But no. I'm masculine as ****. Hoorah.

I spend far too much time practising other voices, too. I'm not much good yet. I can do a good Gravemind, and a good Smeagol, but that's it. I'm sure I could get a few good ones out for the rest of the characters. In fact, I just had way too much fun reading the Bilbo/Gandalf "good morning" scene to myself.

This needs to happen. :coma:

You sound like a really nice person, great voice

I thought I could hear some hints of 'Irishness' but I guess I was wrong :P

Salut to you too! Vous-vivez à la Paris? Ou... J'adore le français
