Always a depressing sign when the (AQA, UNIT 1/2/3) Chemistry grade boundaries are incredibly high... Although its always a good sign when both Physics and Biology are low. I would expect Chemistry to be the lowest of all Sciences considering majority of the people classify it to be the most difficult.

They've always been quite high, the exam boundary isn't too bad but the coursework boundary is crazy :'(
Much higher than usual, exam is normally about 63 but now is 67 for an A*. Coursework has gone up from 79/80 to 82 for an A :/

Ffs why couldn't we do 'life saving' and 'personal fitness' to get all 10s like all the other normal schools :'(

Hi just to say the OCR links a couple of people have put up are for A level boundaries - you can stop panicking now!

OCR has made my day! Computing is the only subject I take with them and they've lowered the A* exam boundary by 10 marks!!!! So the top grade is still a very much alive and kicking possibility
Same haha, I'm starting with 83/90 on my Controlled Assessments, just hoping I manage to get 60+/80 on the exam. Hopefully for an A*

The OCR GCSE grade boundaries are up and people have been linking the correct ones. Unless in the OCR dictionary "GCSE" means "A-level", I'm not sure where you're coming from.

OCR science boundaries are sky high- I do not know what they are expecting- all C's ?
Not even, it was like 26 for a C on one of them, that's like normally a B -_-

I know I mean PE is hard enough as it is, although I personally think the exam was quite good (was so happy the new section wasn't in the exam!). I wish I knew where I was in terms of my coursework .

Haha we did those (although I didn't choose life-saving) what did you have to do instead?

I'd accepted the A in my head since the exam aha (I just counted so many silly mistakes!). I got 84/90 in controlled assessments so around 59 or 60 should be enough for the A*. Let me know how you do tomorrow!

OCR German and Bussiness Studies along side AQA History B... are horrible. They're way too high. Business is substantial.

    Ohhh damn, 84/90 is impressive - I thought I was a topper getting 83
I did awfully on my 1st controlled assessment as I did it in Year 9/10, got 40. I'm sure you can easily get an A* if you're capable of 84 in your CAs. Will do, same applies to you!

Did anyone else do ocr 21st century physics bio and chem?! The boundaries have gone up and the exams were harder 😁 Especially P1,2,3?! That exam was harder than any of the previous one yet the boundary is up 5 marks for an A*- not amused! 😔
It's going to be harder to get the a* in science..the biology ones are really high

haha I actually did better in the first one! 43/45 and then 41/45. I love how your definition of "awful" is the exact A* mark
My year is the first year my school has done Computing and there was a change in teacher half way and we got taught 4 of the (if I remember correctly?) 7 exam chapters - the rest I had to go through the textbook during revision So I'm not sure how I've fared really.
I just really want an A* because the second CA took so much of my revision time so it better have been worth it in the end!

Wait, is that bad? OCR has to be one of the best boards for science because of their relatively low grade boundaries
