Their dance thing - most likely not. It's definitely not mainstream.

I'm sorry but I don't have any good knowledge about Sufis to answer this question adequately. I just know that they're the ones who are known for the dancing and twirling in circles etc... It would be better to quote Ash, ThatMuslimGuy or Ibn fulaan about this.

And there's no need to apologise for questions

    Dunno.

It's a form of dhikr (rememberance of allah)

The green makes me think they're sufis. They do make some nice shapes and their synchronisation is pretty good lol

I made terrible soup yesterday and sent it over to my aunt and uncle. They said they loved it (but then again my aunt admitted she had to add more salt). Hurray for the Sunnah!

Lol it definitely isn't mainstream. There is a Sufi here by the name of goobplys. You may wanna talk to him about it.

No offence to him but he's just very liberal. He doesn't come across like a knowledgeable sufi. He's probably not the person to ask.

Assalamu alaykum. I'm not a Muslim, but I have a great respect and interest in Islam. I study GCSE Religious Studies and through this and my own research, I have found out several things about Islam and I would say it is one of the wisest of all the religions. There are some things I don't agree with in Islam, but more things that I do agree with.

So, in other words, I'm saying hi and declaring an interest in this thread.
