I think Welbeck could do quite well at Arsenal if given the chance, he gets a lot of unfair criticism imo.

No excuses this time, though, if Wenger does play him up front. He should have a few months of being first choice striker with loads of quality support.

I want to see him do well but it'll be painful to see him potentially shine at Arsenal .
I think Ozil will benefit the most from Welbeck's arrival. In Sanchez and Welbeck, Arsenal have very good movement up front and along with bursts from midfield from Ramsey, Ozil should rack up a fair amount of assists.

He's slow as ****. Just imagine him and Mertersacker starting at the back if Kos got injured.

Wenger's not letting go of 4-1-4-1

    Szczesny
    Debuchy - Mertesacker - Koscielny - Monreal
    Flamini
    Welbeck - Cazorla - Ramsey - Ozil
    Sanogo

Sanchez can be a super sub.

Why are you guys even considering putting Sanogo up front instead of Welbeck. The reason you needed Welbeck is because Giroud is injured and Sanogo is ****, so you're going to put Welbeck on the wing there is going to give you a terrible return rate, any your problem remains. You might as well have saved your money.

Yeah only want to see Welbeck up front where he actually has a very good scoring rate. Gets a few assists too. I'm pretty happy with his signing, he doesn't really fit LVG's system but I think Wenger can improve him quite a bit. He has good movement which is important, how often do we put balls in the box only for nobody to be there to put them in? He's the sort of player that Alexis could play well off too, with Welbeck playing the Vargas role should we want to change our system. There would be some insane work rate there.

    You like Unreal Tournament 3?

I had that game, was pretty good but not enough people bought it.
It is an old game so player count will be an issue in finding matches. Yeah I like it. Always preferred 'less realistic' shooters because the developers can probably get away some outrageous weapons so I don't hear players demand nerfs because, goodness me, something other than an AR (sometimes an SMG), are actually decent, like what you get in military shooters. Pity Destiny followed suit by making shotguns useless during their beta. I could not work out their one hit kill range so it must have been less than the melee range so in CQC you use a rifle instead and hope for a headshot, usually jumping in the process. Sounds familiar from Bungie.. I don't what's sillier, that or COD players promoting run and gunning and then cry when shotguns have a one hit kill potential beyond pissing range.

These days I play on Borderlands 2 since the gear is quite surreal. My most used shotgun is called the Carnage and it shoots rockets and every kill with it from my current character guarantees a grenade drop.

He'll still most likely be on the bench when Giroud returns.
No he won't, because he's a better player than Giroud.
