Ramos is 100% not leaving. He is just using Man Utd to get a larger contract just like Alves did and Ronaldo previously. Schweinsteiger is also doing the same thing

Unsure about the latter. He seems to be dropping hints that he could be Emirates-bound.

Looked on the atletico forum and they said Martinez is going to atletico and that Reus is another possibility.

Well, if it's on a forum it must be true.

I should have explained it better. They said that the newspaper Mundo Deportivo said that he has signed on a 5 year contract and one user said that the deal is closed

Do you think a lot of the time he's left exposed by a lack of protection in front of the back 4 at Madrid? And do you think he'd fit in well at United hypothetically speaking?
Last season Madrid played with a midfield of Kroos, Modric and Rodriguez, with Isco sometimes playing. That meant there was no defensively minded midfielder. Also, Marcelo and Carvajal were always bombing down the wing so there was little in the way of defensive protection. So yes, the centre-backs are often left exposed.

Hypothetically he would do well at United. He's used to playing in a team that dominates possession and holds a high-line, he's strong and fast enough to play in the premier league and he'd be a leader at the back which United desperately need.

I can't see him going though, he's a huge figure for Madrid.

I agree wholeheartedly with this.

Martinez, Griezmann, Vietto, Torres, Correa(if not loaned out) is a quality strike force.

Can't blame Ramos for talking up his lack of a high salary compared to other defenders when you consider he has become their prime centre-back. I think he'll end up staying but the way the Madrid media works (seems lots of pro Florentino papers are criticising Sergio) and just the general feeling, leaving isn't a complete non-starter.

You'd hope Benitez plays Varane in the centre back role alongside Ramos more regularly. Former's been in/out last season and with Jose a fan, you don't want to lose Varane considering his potential.

Dani Alves cost Barca 32.5m Euro compared to Danilo who cost 31m Euro. Dani joined at 25 and Danilo for 23. If (and it is a big if) he can emulate his countryman in Madrid than it will be worth it.

I think that Pogba will go to Barca and Verrati will go to Real.

If that happens then it will be Busquets, Rakitic, Pogba(I imagine that Iniesta will play less)

vs Kroos,Modric and Verrati.

What a battle that would be

Barca won't sign Pogba because Laporta will get elected president. Even if he was signed, Iniesta would still be in the starting 11 without a doubt
