Herrera was right to do what he did. If he didn't react that way, Barkley probably wouldn't have got booked.

That's why I said NEXT game. Regardless of his performance in this game, he'll get benched in the NEXT game.

I know he was benched in this game, obviously

Martial was head and shoulders above anybody else on the pitch today. Fitting that his moment of brilliance proved the defining moment of the match.

Hope Hayles101 made it out of this video alive.

Great win, i think thats the most exciting game i have seen with LVG at United. Not the best performance or domination of the other team.
Just exciting to watch and a last minute winner. Like old times.

Still want LVG gone though, even if he gets top 4 and FA cup. So many poor games this season compared to the good ones.

Told you
Pls
Sakho > Smalling

But srs, well done on the victory - Everton are bloody awful but your attacking play was still impressive.

Don't actively "want" you to win the cup but you really should.
If you do, 7th place will get EL so I think that works for everybody

Y ignore my praise for your team and only focus on the negative?

Such a pessimist.

Watched the goal about a dozen times now. As soon as Herrera poked it through, you just knew.

LVG has a good record vs Everton and it helped today that Martinez played football in his usual style so we were always going to have opportunities. I was expecting Stones/Jagielka not to be in so that Martinez might go a tad defensive but good, nervous game which we made it once we did the standard score then relax mode. De Gea's save, just awesome. Herrera's five minute cameo was LVG's best substitution since, well, ever with us. I'd prefer Watford in the final as they'd give us bit more space to play with going forward whereas Pardiola will plan his team well for us and make it a tight game.

Lukaku's got 18 goals in the league but his form has dipped off. Not sure about him as an acquisition in the summer - he's 22 so he might get high level consistency but in games like today, when his team needed him, he was off the boil.

I'd much rather play Palace in the final than Watford. Palace will likely sit deep and frustrate us but Watford are pretty well set up yo counter our style of play as Deeney/Ighalo's work rate will disrupt our tempo before we even get going.
