Sure. We'll have to wait 'till I or someone else figures out how to do it though. I can't be bothered working it out atm. It's possible someone has already done so.:dontknow: Or maybe not...In which case, I'm the inventor, I get to name it after me!:awesome:

Well there's not much advantage to HRGC, whereas there is to BRGC.

Technically, it has the same advantages, it's just that nobody builds base16 hardware.

Well, it only changes by one digit each increment is what I meant. I'm not sure all the maths things you can do would work, but the hardware stuff would. Any reason why it wouldn't?

I don't know, I'm too tired to try and work it out.

I imagine HRGC would lose the advantage of hex, by making it complicated again.

**** this, I'm off to bed. In the interests of accountability, I'm telling you now that I'll be up and ready to start at 9am - one post here to mark the start, and then I resume blocks of 20. "Night" (morning?) all. :wavey:

It's night still if you've not gone to bed imo

One says "night", the other says "morning". Not sure my brain can cope with contradiction... :woo:

I'm fairly sure I don't understand most of what can be done BRGC, there were a lot of different uses listed on wikipedia and some were pretty obscure...How many of them do you know of/understand? I'm curious to learn more...

true and I'm not sure yet if there's a simple way of converting between HRGC and normal hex. btw, I'm fairly sure HRGC doesn't 'really' exist...I mean, it can be done but I don't think anyone uses that acronym.
