Saturday 18th April

First time training in 3 weeks, felt good to get back in the gym.

Squats -
60kg X 5
100kg X 5
140kg X 1
160kg X 1
180kg X 1
190kg X 1
200kg X 1

2.5inch deficit deadlift -
60kg X 5
100kg X 5
140kg X 5
160kg X 5

Incline leg press -
160kg X 20
200kg X 12

Squats were heavy and grindy, first time squatting in 2+ months though so I'm happy with 200.

Deadlifts, easy. 30 seconds between sets for dat cardio.

Life just getting in the way.

I've been incredibly stressed and feeling very low, to the point of having no desire to train or eat etc. Hadn't been working for ages, which sucked, finally got a job interview at the start of April so I was busy preparing for and worry about that.

Was busy over Easter, then I got ill for a week....

I got the job though, so all is well now.

Haven't trained this past week as I was left drained from work, just not used to a 9-5. Sitting at a desk all day is hard work!

Back to things now though, I can drink protein shakes all day at my desk and make gains.

Finance admin for a large music promotions company. Ultimately want to be an accountant, just a case of slowly working my way up the ladder now.

I think I'm literally the only one in the office who lifts. I was talking to a guy about lifting and his only real interest was how much I could dumbbell curl... Or to quote him "what size dumbbell can you lift?" *while doing dumbbell curl motion".
