A whole weekend of port, polo and cigars. This is the pinnacle of joy. And I really hope I end up against Warwick some time, the aggressive, pretentious *****.

My college insists on us doing A2 tasters, so I still have three weeks

But thank you anyway I can't wait to get to sleep in!

You're lucky to just have 3 I have until the end of the school year.

Should be good though. Plenty of time to tie up loose ends such as the Student Union (If which I am the only remaining VP - others are all year 13) and various other projects which have lacked my attention

Sounds good. Though chilling out at home sounds better

Is it not normal in Year 12 for lessons to go on as normal after exams until the summer holidays?

Not for me or any of my friends at other colleges. However, if you continued year 12 at a school, its probably more common.

That sounds like the case then.

It was a funny few weeks with a half-full common room, although it gave us a chance to have a clear-up before the new Year 12 arrived.

I was out for dinner tonight so a bit later than expected. It has been sent now.

What are everyone's thoughts on the GCSE Maths sweets question? I personally think they're all kicking up a fuss for no bloody reason... they just need to grow up and accept a bit of failure to get a question right.

The question was fairly easy too. I mean, I guess its harder for GCSE students, but it wasn't a ridiculously hard question or anything. Something that those aiming for As and A*s should get.

Exactly... as you say, I guess with more Maths experience, it is a simple problem, but harder for GCSE students... But yeh, they need something to differentiate the top and the middle tier students... and why they think a petition is going to make a bloody bit of difference  If they believe that, they deserve to get a bad grade

In any case, it's unlikely to make masses of difference as it's common to have a harder question... granted, I haven't seen the rest of the paper, but I've also been told they haven't sat the second part yet...
