They really didn't deserve to win.

I think they did, you know. They seemed to create the more chances and Patricio had a superb game.

So how's life been treating you? Good to see you (attempting) returning to the benches! It's a shame we had to field a candidate to crush you.

Pretty good, finally free from school and exams and such. Just enjoying the summer now! And by enjoying the summer I mean I have more time to stay indoors on TSR.

Since when has TSR decided to add a random asterisk to the end of every post?
    It's a fault.

Someone mentioned it in the help and support forum. They were told, a few days ago, that it was being looked into.

    No update yet.*

They were more like Pepe's little helpers, let's be honest. Giroud got absolutely bullied

Does it really take much to bully Giroud? Granted that was one of Pepe's best performances tonight in both defending and leadership, though he's still a ****.

Fonte had Griezmann in his back pocket for almost the entirety of the match. Rendered him completely ineffective, save for that header opportunity.

Patricio did have a superb game. Agreed. But France had more possession, more shots, more shots on target and more corners. I also thought they looked more dangerous when attacking. Also, they hit the post at the end of regulation time. A shocking decision from the referee in extra time got Portugal up France's end of the field and a minute or so later, they scored. Throughout the tournament, Portugal have scraped wins (last minute goal against Croatia, winning on penalties against Poland and a goal late in extra time against France). Also, they finished 3rd in their group. They didn't deserve to win the Euros.

Pogba was pretty poor too, spent most of the game passing back to his centre-backs.

Whereas Sissoko looked possessed by Cruyff, Pogba seemed to be channelling his inner Arteta. Bizarre

Please, we all know the Portuguese won because the French are afraid of the 643 year old alliance with us

I Billy Bragg's cover of the red flag in a playlist music swap I'm taking part in, this month being covers. So I had a look on wikipedia as I couldn't remember the name of the person who wrote the lyrics and found out this had been added to the wikipedia page for the song

"Following the 2015 election of veteran socialist Jeremy Corbyn as Leader of the Labour Party and Leader of the Opposition, The Red Flag was sung as he and his supporters celebrated in The Sanctuary, a public house in London"

An event I was at is on wikipedia, which seems kind of odd, but brought back happy memories

I wonder if Billy Bragg will be seen out campaigning for Jeremy Corbyn during the forthcoming leadership contest.

I met Billy Bragg a few years ago and he is a pleasant and friendly man. 'Handyman Blues' from one of his recent albums is a lovely song.*

Osborne is flying out to the US to try to drum up trade deals (although I find it odd he's going to NY if this is the case)...he'll probably do more harm to the prospect than the Democrats.
