On the news of Aph joining the Socialist Party, I expect Aph to be given an MP seat before the end of July to fill the shortage of potential MPs in the Socialist Party.

    They're that desperate for members?
    I'm hardly ideologically incompatible.

Why would we not accept the application of someone who is obviously a socialist?

Also, Nigel, I invite you to check the most recent voting review, the socialists were the only party UKIP did not have a better voting record than.

well considering that the greens and the SNP are pushing for it (well SNP were last GE) and the lib dems are in a bad place I shoudl expect they would.
Go and look at the last three months in Welsh politics and then see if you still think Plaid and Labour will not just do a deal, but a full-on electoral pact.

Ultimately corbyn could overrule the Welsh Labour Party if he thought it nessesary.

They still deny that. Don't you take Leanne Wood and Rhun ap Iorwerth's word for it?

I would suggest Labour might be just as likely to put the brakes on as anyone in Plaid, especially if Owen Smith is still wielding the sort of influence he appears to have been wielding in the last week or so.

Debatable. In terms of GE policy then probably yes, given that although candidates stand as Welsh Labour they are standing first and foremost on a UK-wide manifesto, and the person responsible for the campaign in Wales and the debates is not so much the FM as the Shadow Welsh Secretary, so currently Paul Flynn.

I'm not saying that he will. But ultimately right now he needs all the nationalist parties and left wing parties to form an electoral pact with him to even have a hope of winning an election.

I'll trust Plaid as far as I can toss them

An electoral pact I doubt very much, but a new version of 'One Wales' perhaps.

Best to report that in TSR Help and Feedback etc than posting about it here.

(But yes, there is problems with notifications).

Does the violence against Eagle not say something about Momentum?

Well the brick through the window is a great demonstration of the Principal of the Conservation of Liner Momentum.

I think like you said about the shooting of Joe cox one violent incident doesn't mean every brexiter (or in this case Corbynite) is like that.
