With the form they've been in, they could very easily drop points to both Spurs and Southampton even if the latter two have been bad. Swansea have the SMALLEST chance of finishing 7th and gaining Europa (unlikely but it's still possible if City beat both Spurs and Soton then Swansea can get 7th)

If the rumours about Rooney being injured are true then it's great news for us, and possibly means 3 points are more likely (though I do expect a draw).

A return of 80pts wouldn't be terrible, it's only 1pt above what we achieved last year but the league has been harder this year and we have to take into consideration our awful start to the campaign.

82 pts would be very nice too though
Lol no the league has been piss poor this year, shown by us being a few points off 2nd despite being **** all year.

Rooney was non existant in the Spurs, Liverpool, City and Chelsea games which we all either won or comfortably dominated. What you meant to say was if Carrick was still injured...

Your great rivals haven't won it for 25.
Every big club will go through a slump but for Liverpool, 25 years is horrific. We went 25/26 years without winning the title as well, hopefully Liverpool's drought continues for another 50 years .

To be fair, Rooney always seems to score against Arsenal, so it's still fortunate for us if he is out.

Should just skip the bull**** and call it the Arsenal FA Cup.

Nah, but seriously, that would be a ridiculous move. Way to kill the oldest football competition in history.

People were saying that the title race has been over for weeks...

IF we'd beaten Chelsea and Leicester hang on then we'd have been 4 points behind (assuming we win our game in hand) with 4 games to go...

I know there are several ifs but the title wasn't wrapped up for Chelsea, it is now, but if we'd beaten them then it was game on

Leicester will bottle it as usual, they ain't got bottle

Or if it stays that way, it only shows they've got a good home record against the "big teams". Similar to Burnley's

    no point in what ifs..

chelsea will deserve the title when they win it.. there were many chances for chelsea to mess up and the did not..

I do fully expect them to recover against leicster though..

And even if they do not, and we had beat them, AND liverpool beat them.. then we would still need them to drop points in another game. and us beat united.

Drop all the title race things

I don't care how unlikely it is. I will keep hoping for arsenal to win the title until it's not mathematically possible

I would think a mid-table team with nothing to play for wouldn't halt a title charge?
