if the squuad can stay fit, i don't know how our jacky boy will start games maybe have him start the capital one while the big boys do the real bidness or use the lad as a super sub.... he needs to step his game up this year

a few years ago, chaps were talking about him and gotze in the same breath

one just scored a great winning goal in a world cup final against argentina

the other was seen with a dusty cigarette in a las vegas pool with joe hart passing him drinks by the mouth

make or break for the lad this year.
And to think two years ago he was a guaranteed starter and Ramsey not. How they've progressed.

They've shown the Arsenal Chelsea game as well and no other teams feature in these ads so it kinda obvious they're targeting Arsenal. These ads are pretty classless if you ask me you'd never catch Sky doing stuff like that. But I've come to expect this sort of thing because people are jealous of Arsenal.

The ads just seem like pointless digging at Arsenal, wouldn't it make more sense to show a range of games from different leagues they broadcast?
no offence but it's your own fault.
if you get crushed by your rivals, you will suffer the shame until you next face them, that's just how football is.

The fact is that if you're going to let your rivals thrash you 5-1 and 6-0 you have to accept all the abuse that comes your way. I just hope we redeem ourselves in the big games next season.
couldn't agree more - arsenal fans can of course be annoyed about it, but ultimately it was their own team that made this happen.

    (Original post by Pete_91)
The only 2 games they have made any reference to are the 5-1 and 6-0 games. Bear in mind I'm pretty sure they showed the FA cup final last year, could have used that, no?
i think the whole point of the BT advert was that anything can happen in football.
two top teams can battle it out and for some reason, one of them can be ahead 4-0 after 20 minutes.

it would be supreme idiocy for BT not to advertise should ridiculous footballing moments given how competitive football broadcasting is right now.

it isn't an attack specific at arsenal, it just so happens that you were on the receiving end of some pretty hilarious thrashings that are great for ratings.

i'm sure you'll redeem yourself next year though; don't think you can go downhill from those games last season...

Jamie Carragher's a funny guy he said he feels us signing Sanchez would limit some of our English Players (Walcott & Chamberlain). The irony is Carragher wanted him to join, wouldn't he also limit Sterling, Lallana, Sturridge (Maybe) & Lambert?

Yeah, it's their fault that we played their top 4 rivals away from home at 12:45 on a Saturday while we hosted them in the evening

The time you play them has nothing to do with the result. This is England, not spain or russia where there's a different timezone.

Also why are you complaining about the Chelsea game then? it's only an hour/hour and a half journey to get to the bridge. One hour does nothing. Plus anyway you guys could just get a hotel in liverpool/Manchester in the night. Not like you're going to be using your training facilities the night before the game as you need to rest.

The way you make it sound is like you're using it as an excuse.

It did have a bit of bitterness in that statement.

Lambert was made as a backup signing tbh. Sanchez won't limit Sturridge. He'd directly take Lallana's place. The english player thing is annoying imo because Wenger has actually done well with them over the past few years anyway.

    not sure is srs
Anyone that averages a pass completion rate of over 92 percent gets a thumbs up in my book. I like him! I think with Flamini, Arteta, Ramsey (Diaby is he ok now?) Arsenal are good to go!

This. You can't blame the clear tactical errors and lack of judgement on playing at midday  The main thing next season is to keep our best players fit for those games and more importantly making sure our full backs are less suicidal. I think we should play on the counter more, I'd love us to go back to the style of play of Wenger's early years, I think football is moving back in that direction after a few years dominated by possession teams.

Rumours surfacing that we also didn't win the title because the open top bus parade was at 12:45 and our lads couldn't make the journey

They still have more World Cup medals than any English player can dream of.

Baconbutty actually makes sense and doesn't make ridiculous witch doctor like conspiracy theories. You sounded like a liverpool fan who was born around 1970.
