No Martial but Rashford is the guy we really need back. Hopefully Depay can fill in at LW.

Well, yeah. It's gonna be Carrick, Herrera and Rooney in midfield.

tonight is such a win-win. One of the Manchester teams is going to end up devastated. Love it.

United fans won't really be devastated if we lost.

Plus there is still one more game after tonight so it's not the end.

Do United even need CL football anyway? It's not like you need the money, or the attraction to players. Utd can throw money at any player and they'd still go

Really? CL football is currently in your hands, there is no one in your way - you could actually end up having a really decent season.

And you wouldnt be devistated if you lost out on CL football?

The only reason for this I can buy is that if you miss out on CL jose is coming, but to be honest, what fan would want their club to miss out on CL just for a better chance at a new boss

I know, I was waiting for you to respond first

United need CL football because the competition nowadays even in the PL is huge. When you have teams like Leicester and Spurs jumping above them, it gets prospective players thinking.

Yes United's pull as a club is still good but fans overestimate it. Unless they get Mourinho in, having no CL would seriously make them suffer. What player would want to go to a club playing terrible football under a poor manager?
Yeah you can offer them huge wages but that won't tempt the truly top players.

You need a manager like Klopp who shows he can produce great football and importantly, shows that he can improve a club instantly. In 7 months, the man has somehow taken a team not his own to 2 cup finals.

Without CL football or a top manager, United are below City, Arsenal and Liverpool (only if we win the EL). Perhaps they're even behind Leicester and Spurs too. They'd only be slightly above Chelsea.

We shouldn't really be devastated. Most of us haven't really been expecting top 4 anyways. We've just been gifted a chance from City, so it's just a question of us being able to take or not. Bear in mind we haven't grabbed these type of chances all season and know that we are capable of losing to west ham. I don't think too many fans will raise their hopes high enough to be absolutely devastated if we lost tonight.

Yeah basically what Lucio saidCL is where all the best clubs are at so we should be looking to be there unless we have dropped our standards.

Would be more annoying having been so close, expected or otherwise. LVG has got a good record for producing for us when the chips are down, but I feel we won't make it for some reason. I think this idea of self regulation of decisions and such that LVG has it just fundamentally flawed. Too often the team just struggles to find that fire, that a manager like Simeone always seem to be able to inject into his team from the side line.

Just saw that too

Lol at this club. Di Marzio said we were really close to agreeing a deal so Bayern just RKO'd us out of nowhere.

We really should have confirmed Mourinho ages ago otherwise we won't get any of our targets.
