Nah El zhar won't start vs villa.

Cahill banned for 3 games and now Gerrard out of Villa game...not sure what to do now.

10-15 days. Should be back for the united game because of the international break in between our next two games.

OK cool.

On another note, Fabregas started in the match agains FC Twente and played for about 65 minutes. He looked in pretty good shape.

When you transfer players now, they use the value they are current not what you bought them for! Gonna be interesting...

You earn 50% of the value increase on the player rounded down I believe.

So if I buy a player at 9m, and they increase to 9.1 and I decide to sell them, I will recieve 9m.

But if I buy a player at 9m, and they increase to 9.2 and I sell them I will recieve 9.1 (+.2 divided by 2 = .1).

Lol there was one guy last season, Callum something, he MUST of been playing just to get the highest valued team, he'd make an insane amount of transfers every week (whoever was most popular) and by the end of FPL ended up with about 120m in his bank.

Obviously with all the point deductions he had a crappy score but he had one hell of a team in week 38.

Cool, I really didn't know that. I didn't know that was the case in seasons before.

Gone for Adebayor in for Rooney this week. Probably wont get more than 2 but Rooney doesn't play so nothing lost. Lampard captain as nobody stands out.

What are the chances of Joe Cole being dropped for Robinho?

Sod it. The Wildcard has been used. (Hopefully to good effect...)

For once, I'm actually aiming to have a bench of people I might use.

In the process of rebuilding (frantically) at the moment - can anyone tell me what the hell Tottenham's first team defence is atm?

I have Ade too, and was contemplating whether to take him out :hmmmm:

He hasn't looked like doing much this season tbh.

When he hit the post i got all excited, him being my captain, I stood up and screamed ADEBAY... and then realising it just hit the post sat down in glumness.

I, in effect, replaced him for Gerrard; that worked out well =\

I'll be putting Rooney back in after the Internationals and it made sense to take one of Ferdinand/Rooney out. I couldn't see any defender that had a good chance of a clean sheet this week or next and, although Rio looks set to drop in price soon, I left him in as he'll go back up and he is in all season unless injured. I prefer to have 7m Rio on the bench than 11m Rooney too. Adebayor has to score sometime, Fabregas should set him up a few against Newcastle. Nothing to lose as there wasn't an obvious pick this week with a few close games.

Yeah, the move makes sense for you. I'm considering using my wildcard, though, so retaining Adebayor doesn't make quite as much sense :teeth:
