That's the depression hun, that's not you being useless or lazy  Besides, I am of the firm opinion that doing stuff can be overrated. Sometimes you just need to have a self-care day. Or a few self-care days! Sometimes all in one go! Nothing wrong with that :nah:

Is it possible you tried to take on too much for the day and then that kinda froze you to the point where you couldn't even attempt it? That happens a lot to me I think it's important to only set manageable tasks/amounts and keep things realistic. Also to remember the world won't end if you still have dirty towels tomorrow :nah:

Pick one thing off the list and go do it now before you head to bed. Just one. A list can be overwhelming because then you feel like you have to do ALL THE THINGS. Put pick one thing, do it then have a break or leave the rest until tomorrow.

that does sound like it might be the cause, I always end up overwhelmed by all the things I have to do :sadnod:

okay, I'll pick one, do it, then take a break, and try to maybe get a second thing done before bed too

    thanks :hugs:

Grrr, stupid quote button STILL not working :grumble:

It's a very easy thought/panic pattern to fall into, so don't beat yourself up about it. I only realised I was doing it when I was reading a book written by a Catholic priest with bipolar, about how to manage mental health ups and downs and he was talking about it and I was like "****, I do this too"
