    Get Out
    Get out of the door
    Get out of the box
Get out of the your corner in which you’ve been hiding in for so long
    I get it.
You feel safe, undisturbed and almost protected as if no one can hurt you here but
How are you going to experience life if you cannot
get out of your comfort zone?

It’s time to stop bringing up the past and blaming others for the pain they caused you.

They never let you see it but behind their smiles are feelings of guilt; they know they’ve hurt you.

Why do you have to keep reminding them though? Let them move on. But

why should they be allowed to move on if you can’t move on?

The thing is you need to

Stop blaming them for what they did and

    Stop judging their actions.

People say this all the time but

You need to remember that no ones perfect.

    We all make mistakes.

What if people only choose to judge you by your mistakes?

    That wouldn’t be fair.

Don't go for looks, they can deceive. Don't go for wealth,
even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you
smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day
    seem bright.

Always put yourself in the other's shoes. If you feel that it
hurts you, it probably hurts the person too.

If you want someone to be honest with you
You need to let go of your fears.
You’re not always going to like what they have to say and often the truth stings but
if you let go of your defence mechanisms and
accept it there is truth in what they are saying
you are more likely to be able to address it, make a positive change and change yourself for the better…

You need to stay true to yourself and your beliefs.
You can lie to other people but you can’t lie to yourself.
No matter how hard you try to portray yourself as someone else externally you always know the truth internally.
Don’t feel as if you have to deny who you are or pretend to be something you’re not.
I can’t promise that being yourself will get you a lot of friends but it will get you the right ones:console:

"The best moments in reading are when you come across something - a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things - that you'd thought special, particular to you. And there it is, set down by someone else, a person you've never met, maybe even someone long dead. And it's as if a hand has come out and taken yours."

I've yet to experience the above, but it does sound wonderful! Probably a sign that I should move onto something more substantial than fiction. :erm:

The History Boys is one of my favourite films ever, there's so many good quotes for this thread in there. The one you've posted above is brilliant
