They ask you to fill in a questionnaire because they want more info from you. You could say it is a sort of "interview" (but a far subspecies :P ). Good luck!
HI guysss do you know what I should write in this questionnaire? if it should be science based or just my own opinions etc??

OMG that's great!! I guess it means that you've got the offer, as long as they like what you've written in the questionnaire. Even if you are predicted AAA, your application was probably strong, so they were still interested in you.
What time did they sent it to you?
AWW THANKS x
well tbh I don't even know what I should be writing like how sciencey it should be?
umm they sent it to me yesterday at around 5ish?
DW YOU'LL GET ONE SOON!

Ahahaha I'm facing the same dilemma right now. I can't decide between UCL and Durham - UCL seems more attractive in terms of its course and location, but it's much pricier as well. :/
Yes I so agree! Durham is great and all but UCL has a much better course and location. Being in the centre would be such an amazing experience but it so expensive in terms of rent and living expenses. I have made so many pro and con lists but am no where near deciding :/ how about you?

Well, it really depends on what exactly the questions are, but yes, from what I've noticed about UCL, they are quite focused on the scientific bit of psychology, so don't write only about abstract stuff, maybe try to give some examples if appropriate in the answers, or relate them to various experiments and scientific approaches of specialists.
For instance if they ask you something about intelligence, don't just give a general definition, but also make reference to Piaget, Thurstone, maybe Howard's multiple intelligences etc That's what I would do, anyway.

Thanks for the reassurance, by the way! I sent them an email some time ago and they replied saying I'll get an answer in maximum 2 weeks. Hoping for the best! Good luck!

I'm leaning towards UCL but cost is a pretty huge issue since I'm an international student. I'm currently waiting for Durham's college allocations to be released before I make my decision.

I'm a home offer older for CompSci who went to their CS open day. Honestly I was surprised by how much they talked about medicine and the department's links with the hospital. 90% of the projects shown were for a medical purpose and the remainder were half done oculus rift or flash games. The facilities themselves were very good but all in all, it felt like a compressed, less prestigious Imperial (no offence to anyone, that's just my genuine opinion). I'd be happy to go to UCL but it's the same offer as Oxford meaning I'm gonna have to insurance KCL which I hear isn't as good :P Best of luck wherever you go

I went through the rankings....while choosing... Oxford n Cambridge deadlines were over unfortunately... So I couldn't apply to them...I mainly applied for cs ...my dad has a few friends there...so I consulted them..
I ws not asked to give interviews...they only asked for my predicted grades and gave me a conditional offer. However I am still waiting for the others to reply. Hope it helps.

Still waiting on English too. Think they are really late this year - have spent ages looking for people who have got interviews/offers and I think they are just later than they were last year.
Hi I got an offer back in November, as I was an early applicant...The people that interview are really nice, it's like a discussion and it was really personal statement based. There's an offer holders' day for English on the 27th, so I hope you hear from them soon!

Well done on your offer! Still waiting on a reply even though I sent off my application around October 9th...

How much notice did you have for your interview? How long after the interview did you find out about your offer?

Thanks!

I'm currently taking a gap year and got the unconditional offer to study MPharm. I have already done the A level last year and achieved A*A*A* in Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. Actually, I reapplied to Cambridge this year for Natsci but unfortunately I failed again. Well, I have to face the truth and prepare to enjoy my 4 years pharmacy study at UCL.

Hey! Awh thanks I got the invitation on 20th October, and the interview was on the 5th Nov, so a fair amount of notice but I still stressed so much! And they said they'll tell me in 2 weeks but I waited 4 before I found out...was SO relieved. There's also a written part of the interview, where you critically analyse a poem/ prose for 40 mins. But you'll probs ace that as I'm sure you love English!

Good luck with everything, let me know when you hear from them!

Hey guys I've applied to both durham and UCL I've got an offer from durham and doubt I'll get it from UCL. But I can see many of you are confused between the two. I mean why UCL is better I mean durham Is awesome but UCL is like ICL and LSE. Then why not.

I don't know what ums are but yes they could be a sign because RHUL asked me to send in some extra information like my grade 10 maths qualifications and then like 2 weeks later they gave me a reply. So Yh it could be that they have read you're qualifications and now may are in the process of making a decision or clnsidering it or taking it forwards best of luck hope you get an offer. ☺️
