RayApparently it would also be interesting to hear what the results would be if we assumed the same proportion of votes are lost due to being invalid as in the last election.

No, this is for the model house of commons. The parties here are only vaguely aligned with their real life counterparts. TSR UKIP are a bunch of far right totalitarian nutjobs who want to ban alcohol, cut your balls off if you're not tall enough, abolish prisons (presumably to be replaced with hanging or lashing for minor crimes) and teach a false history of the UK in schools in order to create patriotic and obedient proles. Oh, and they want out of the EU. Basically they are exactly like the radical wahhabi muslims they claim to hate.

Thanks for the clarification . I think it is slightly misleading to share the party names but understand why you are doing that.
No one needs any of what TSRUKIP wants, it's probably part of the cause of UKIPs unfair representation on social media, branding all members as racists.

I didn't see it in your manifesto - what's the Green stance on nuclear power, fission and fusion (if we ever achieve it properly)?
The TSR Greens have traditionally diverged from the RL Greens on this issue, at least to retain nuclear power. Though we wish to see a much greater investment in renewables, hence our proposal for public sector companies to provide as much energy from renewable sources such as solar power for the NHS, London Underground and the buildings managed by the Home Office.

If party names weren't shared, we'd all be coming up with names that were three -ists long.

I can include such an analysis if I can dig up how many votes where discounted last time as a proportion of the totals.

Simple comparison of exit poll data and final result would give that. Both can be find here

Best of luck to everyone. It's been an intriguing election, with the Nat Libs coming in and Labour being a bit naughty.

If you haven't yet voted, you should have a read of our manifesto and consider Voting Liberal.

    Yuck.

Our manifesto is simple, to the point, and gives a broad overview of what we'll do for the next term. We give a short point about what we've done previously without having the need to brag and have like half our manifesto on what we did last term (looks at Labour and the Tories) as we're actually clear about what we're doing next term.

The only other parties that I can say have been clear on what they're setting out to do are UKIP and to a lesser extent the Socialists. How anyone can be confident with voting for any of the other parties whilst barely knowing what they'll do next term, I do not know.
