If you get that and there is no change on Track, then call Exeter and ask/convince them to take you. Alternatively, they might have accepted you anyway. Only if Track has 'unsuccessful' on your application is there no point phoning (unless there's been a mistake).
:cool:because I was told by someone that A*BB is equivalent to AAB.---- ALTHOUGH I AM SCEPTICAL ABOUT THE VALIDITY OF THAT.

Points-wise it is equivalent, but it does not get you automatically into Exeter. However, there is still a good chance of you getting in depending on how other people did.

Does anybody know what ucas will look like on the day?
Will it still say 'congratulations' if I get into my insurance and not my firm?
I don't want to read the first word and get my hopes up...

Yeah it will say congratulations regarding both your firm and insurance, it'll say beside it in brackets unconditional firm or unconditional insurance

I'm in the same boat as you, but with History at Birmingham!! I feel like I'm going to get an A or A* in Economics but a B in History and Philosophy & Ethics but my offer is AAB with an A in History

why are people going into college to get their results---- surely most colleges have an online system where students can login to and see their exam results, attendance, exam timetables etc

Most have some form of VLE, but they still call people in for results. It's easier, because you're not relying on potentially shoddy technology, and if people don't get what they hope for, then teachers are there to offer advice and assistance for calling unis/going through clearing.

You never know, it could be happiness enhancing instead!
Either way, it's inevitable a lot of us are going to be nursing horrific hangovers on the Friday.
