Yuuup

Does LSE give offers straight away, or are there Open Days like UCL?

Also - has anyone attended an LSE lecture before? What's it like?

It's Friday already. *Economist1 is now dreading the worst*

LSE give offers straight away as far as I know.

Are you talking about the open lectures? I found these to be very interesting, though you often have to queue up well in advance if you want to guarantee a seat. If you missed one that you would have liked to attend, however, the chances are that the transcript will have been published on the LSE Events website.

I'm actually looking forward to tomorrow.

Something in my gut tells me it will be offers and not rejections. Dunno why.

Well, anyway, good luck everyone!

Pahh, the only reason LSE'll reject you is cos they think Cambridge'll definitely take you and you'll put them down as 'insurance' :P

Yeah, there are a couple of good lectures on the 3rd (UCL econ+stats day) so i'm hoping to go to one

Thanks for the 'queue in advance' warning - it takes a lot of brainpower to navigate around LSE too, IMO
Lol - a friend and I got lost in LSE, and found a whiteboard with this AWESOME ARRAY of greek letters and square brackets and cool maths symbols (Y)

Haha, i hope so! It'd be nice to hear people getting offers from LSE, for a change :P

But also - what're the chances that the letters'll be late and there'll be a flurry of TSR/LSE posts on Monday?

Hmmm.... Waiting, waiting, ...just waiting... nervous, very nervous...Does LSE send the decisions off automatically like Americans do? or... do the tutors seriously e-mail every single one of them to each individual student?./... and what would be the speediest channel to get to know the decision?
A) UCAS Track
B) E-mail
C) Phone call (Would they be annoyed?)

Track definitely. Don't call, because chances are they won' have made a decision yet. Emails from UCAS only get sent at 12 and 5pm UK time, notifying you that UCAS has updated. However UCAS itself can update at anytime of the day, and is the fastest method of finding out.
