The postage would be astronomical, the last book is huge

Ah, well...just another example of how e-books beat tree-books. though, you're not allowed to transfer ownership or loan most ebooks:unimpressed:

The latter being one of the many, many reasons why actual books are better.

Care to list these 'many, many reasons'? Look at it this way; when I go to uni, I'll be able to take every single one of my ebooks with me.:yep:

Looks nicer, better to read, you can lend/share them, they're cheaper. Only advantage to e-books is they're portable.

I don't see that to be an advantage tbh. I wouldn't want to take all my books with me.

hmmm, funny, I had all of those the other way around easy to organise ebooks too.

Just wait 'till you want to read one that you left behind.

:lolwut: How do e-books look nicer?

Actual books are cheaper - you get offers on them, and you can buy them second hand.

      Organisation isn't an issue, IMO.

I'll take what I want to read

I mean, e-books don't really look like anything, the device they're in can look nicer than a book though.

True, you can get them second hand which is mostly cheaper, but you get offers on ebooks too. I think the cheapest I've got aa ebook was 99p.(it was on offer)

Depends how many you've got. I've seen my mother's collection which is into the hundreds and believe me, it takes up (literally) a shed load of space. I don't have that many yet, but I will at some point.

Do his friends also live in the flat or did they just help him move in? Sounds like you need to do some detective work to figure this guy out :holmes:
I came back from the bar last night he was just sat there on the computer while his mates were on the bed on their phones how exciting

Exactly, books look nice, e-books don't

Meh, new books are cheaper in book form. Plus you don't have to charge books.

I have like, 400+, they don't take up that much space.

      :no:Not what I said

Odd, perhaps we're getting books from different places...

you don't have to charge ebooks either, you just need to charge your portable device. Which you need to charge anyway.

depends how big the books are. What kind of books are they?
