Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that:

Certain people of the Ansar asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he gave them; then they again asked him and he gave them until all what he possessed was exhausted. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whatever wealth I have, I will not withhold from you. Whosoever would be chaste and modest; Allah will keep him chaste and modest and whosoever would seek self-sufficiency, Allah will make him self-sufficient; and whosoever would be patient, Allah will give him patience, and no one is granted a gift better and more comprehensive than patience".

[Riyad as-Saaliheen]

Say, [O Muhammad], "Praise be to Allah, and peace upon His servants whom He has chosen. Is Allah better or what they associate with Him?"

[More precisely], is He [not best] who created the heavens and the earth and sent down for you rain from the sky, causing to grow thereby gardens of joyful beauty which you could not [otherwise] have grown the trees thereof? Is there a deity with Allah? [No], but they are a people who ascribe equals [to Him].

Is He [not best] who made the earth a stable ground and placed within it rivers and made for it firmly set mountains and placed between the two seas a barrier? Is there a deity with Allah? [No], but most of them do not know.

Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth? Is there a deity with Allah? Little do you remember.

Is He [not best] who guides you through the darknesses of the land and sea and who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy? Is there a deity with Allah? High is Allah above whatever they associate with Him.

As the Arabs of that time were so linguistically gifted, a linguistic miracle was fit for the situation. Quran was sent to people who were so eloquent in the Arabic language. If the Quran was not a linguistic miracle, then any of the Arabs and Arab poets in Mekkah (where the prophet peace be upon him stayed for 13 years calling people to worship Allah alone) would come up and say some poetry to challenge the Quran (since the challenge to them was clear) but none was able to challenge the eloquence of the Quran.

The miraculousness of the Quran is an axiom to whomever studies Arabic academically.

It is terrible and disturbing to see all the attacks happening around the world and just recently in Europe too. My thoughts are with the victims always. May Allah protect and bless his mercy on the innocents. Ameen.

That is very true.
Reading its words, seeing the power they convey and how it fits together in its unique inimitable style.
It leaves you in awe.

My teacher was just referring to this yesterday. And Arab poetry was some next level poetry but it had nothing on the Quran. Even the kuffar at that time knew the Quran was something special, but rejected it out of their arrogance. I was told this story yesterday, bit long but worth the read-

Yep, 👌👌👌 very true.
Strange and twisted times we live in these days.
When the prophet pbuh invited a christian deligation to his mosque to debate them, yet they ignore that.
When the orders of the prophet for warfare (which this isn't) were to not kill women, children, the unarmed or those in places of worship, to not mutilate the dead, to not betray those who expect peace from you, to not transgress. Yet they choose to ignore that.
When the prophets forbids to kill the elderly.
When the prophet gives the strongest of warnings against those who go against the above orders, yet they ignore that.
When God almighty ordains to call to his path through wisdom and good reminder.
When God almighty when sending moses pbuh to one of the most evil men, yet he tell moses to remind him with soft reminders. Yet we see them use the harshest of words.
When this was the path of the prophet and righteous companions after him, yet they follow not this path.

When they ignore God and prophet, and kill in a cowardly manner an elderly man, an unarmed man, a man worshiping in his temple. I ask you what religion are they following? What sunnah are they implementing?
Truly their ilk will slip away from islam as the arrow flies away from the bow (as has been said by the prophet pbuh)

May Allah rid us of their curse.
And it is our duty as muslims to fight against their distortions with our hands, our words and our hearts.
