Why fire shots because he's salty we tactically outclassed them in every way.

Because for a long time Arsenal fans + Wenger were salty about route one football by Big Sam Allardyce's teams and now Arsenal are resorting to the same tactics which is the opposite of the way Arsenal typically play.

Seems to be the opposite of the 2013-14 season; we play well as "underdogs" but get beat by "underdogs" themselves (even in the Premier League)

Seems a shame that Debuchy has fallen from grace so much. I really rated him at Newcastle, and was an advocate for Rodgers signing him to replace the ageing and increasingly ineffectual Glen Johnson back in the summer of 2014. Looking forward to seeing him start tonight. The injury to Bellerin has come at the right time, because he needs to rectify that performance against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough in the Capital One Cup last week.

I'm expecting a 2-0 Bayern win tbh, not too hopeful at all.

Arsenal are resorting to route one football? Since when?

That's what Guardiola is saying Arsenal will do tonight.

Pep be salty, tried the reverse psychology in the last leg saying it'd be nice playing a team who didn't put 10 men behind the ball in the hour we wouldn't, got royally mugged off tactically by Wengs who did exactly that and countered them perfectly. Realised reverse psychology didn't work so now saying we play root 1 in hope we try to prove him wrong.

What underdog side have we lost to in the league this season then? Only West Ham who also beat city and Liverpool and Chelsea so hardly the only team to "get beat by the underdogs"...

And we've beaten Leicester, Watford, Swansea, Everton, Stoke, Palace, Newcastle all of whom were considered underdogs

Personally can't see that happening with Theo out, but we'll see I guess.

Probably jump the ball up to Giroud since Bayern will press high.

With Bayern's defence and Vidal, I can't see us trying that tactic more than a few times. Probably just going to sit deep and pray Alexis has a blinder.

If we are to win tonight, it'll probably come through an unlikely source.

Inb4 man like Debuchy unleashes one of them yolo rockets from 30 yards out and catches Neuer off guard

Coleman fires shots at Wenger, saying he should give him a call rather than making cheap shots about how the Wales international set-up handle Ramsey's fitness and performances.

The thing is, everybody thought Bayern were gonna rape Arsenal in the last match and we all know how that turned out.
Fair enough, Bayern's finishing was woeful in that game but at the same time Arsenal's defence were exceptional and they were as efficient going forward as i've seen in a long time.

I think Bayern will be much more wary of you now so it's unlikely that you'll win but after what we saw in the last game, who knows what'll happen?

Arsenal fans and Wenger were never bothered about the long tactics in it itself, after all Arsenal use to play that way before and now a days we expect teams to play defensively because of our strength, we've accepted the fact that we have to break them down to earn wins.

The thing that pissed Wenger off was the overly aggressive and reckless football at times which lead to unnecessary injuries and knocks

It would be amazing if Arsenal win tonight. Just maybe we'll have 4 English teams in the last 16 and start our revival in Europe. City and United top of thier respective tables, i expect Chelsea to finish top or atleast qualify(although who knows with them and thier current form). Tonight's game is huge, lose against Bayern and Olympiakos win then its more or less lights out for Arsenal in Europe.
