Heck. I won't lie, I'm seriously freaking out at the moment.

Sleep evades and all we can do is wait...

God, it's like Christmas but with an almost inevitably bad result at the end of it >.<

I tried to go to sleep because I'm really tired, but no matter what I think about, I just can't go to sleep.
I'll be so sleepy when I check my results.

do you phone them up or just do it through Ucas?
You have to phone universities up for clearing, it then gets confirmed via email or ucas, im not too sure but they do send a confrimation

Ahah I am watching doctor who, and so far all is going well :L

But yeah I wasn't sure I'd be able to wake up on time if I slept, so I chose to just stay awake until after my results :L
I didnt think I would either but I did.... Older Dr Who or the more recent ones with Matt Smith?

Can you check if your results are good enough for a Clearing Course by ringing them up before rejecting your insurance?
By all means yes you can ring up a uni and ask if they would accept you, however if you want to go to that university you will have to ask your firm/insurance to release you into clearing

Any AS students in here? I feel dominated by the A2 mob
I'm here. Tried sleeping. Not possible. Freaking over AS results. Imagine how I'll be in A2. That's if I actually get their. -_-

Universities all over are experiencing 10-15% drops in applicants since tuition fees were put up.

Courses are in clearing because they're under populated. Don't worry!

I'm not sure whether the drop in applications has been that drastic, but I think the main reason is that there's no longer a cap on the number of students unis can accept who've achieved AAB and above.

Aye, infact it's my firm choice although I have a bad feeling that Edexcel has once again screwed me with their A2 chemistry boundaries.

I have to say a mention of my favourite gaming series in such a depressing thread cheered me up.

Me! Also, I'm new to the website :P

I am crapping bricks, waiting on AS MIA, Biology, Maths and English Literature.

I don't know about grades, predicted A in Biology, English and MIA but the thing that worries me is that I only found out I didn't get my source material for Literature the day before as the teacher forgot to tell us so I was kind of making up quotes! Or remembering faded quotes!
