Even on tsr, I've lost any reason to talk to people, I just know no one cares.
Cake, we'll always be here for you no matter what. Aw ofc we care!

If you ever feel like you want to talk, whatever, whenever then just send me a message. If you'd like to send me one every 2 weeks then totally go for it. Every 2 seconds? Then totally go for it again. I'll never get annoyed or feel like you're bugging me in any way at all. Even though we haven't talked much before prior to this point...Im here and I genuinely care. I consider you as a friend and that's what we're here for.

Im certain if you decided to send a message on this thread then everyone would feel the same way as I just described. Infact, it'd get to the point where you'd be ignoring our responses purely bc the fact there'd be too many. :giggle: I assure you. <3

We care about anything and everything. It doesnt even matter what the subject is..if you wish to talk to us about your favourite colour or what you're going to have for dinner or if you fancy giving a 12 minute speech on why you prefer black jeans over blue jeans. We'll all be listening.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to ask but I thought you and the whole Biryani crew were pretty close, at least from an outsider's point of view. I'm sure they all care more than you can imagine. :hugs:

CBT and DBT have been ruled out since I just want to know how to cope.
Yeah, but that may mean that some of your ways will need to be changed? That's the thing with recovery, you have to learn to come to terms with the disorder and to change. That's why there's a difference between suffering with a disorder and living with a disorder. I get that it's hard though, that's probably part of the OCPD I'm guessing? I don't know. I'll do more research for you.

Had a small flashback. Don't know what triggered it. Can't do this fml.

I can't change though, only adapt. Change me and you don't have Francesca anymore, like I was telling Saber yesterday

Thanks again, that's really nice to hear. That's put me in a better mood I'll be sure to express myself more on here if I need to do!

When you say biryani crew, do you mean the user, or the people I talk to about briyani (the food)? lol either way, I do talk to people from time to time but I'm not part of any tsr "crew" so to speak, I'm not really close to anyone on here.

Well...Without meaning to be pedantic, you do realise that adaptation is change, right? Therapy won't change you intrinsically, you will still be you. You're just going to be able to handle things better, which may alleviate any issues that your PD gives you. But still that is change. To get anywhere with recovery you need to be able to accept that you're going to have to change (or adapt) your ways to be able to get a better standard of living. Try and work with them rather than against them if you can. :console:

Sorry if this comes off as mean or something, I want to help. I'm probably not helping so, don't reply if you don't want to. Hope things get better for you.

I'd rather accept than adapt really. Most of them I do work with already, it's just other people don't understand. And I can't spend all my life explaining why I do things in a certain way.

yeah, it might be quitters talk but I'm so damn tired of trying to actually give a **** about my life. You live and you die. End of story.

I wanted a PhD in history when I was a kid but I've realised what a waste that could be; not like I'd make a discovery now is it? It's just interpretation and I've nearly heard everything before.

And how can I tell my family I feel like this? That i have officially given up on everything. I don't care anymore. I just don't.

So yeah, I'm a damn massive pessimist. Always have been always will be until I do something silly or whatever exists takes me off this damn place.

So incoherent and makes no sense.

    Yayyy Im really glad.

Bahahah- no, I mean the user. I said crew bc I was including Yasmin and the others who are part of the little group or at least I thought it was a little group  Oh okay, I totally understand thanks for explaining.

Not a lost cause, you just need specialist support and (ideally) to remove the abusers from your life. Easier said than done, I know, but you're not a lost cause :nah:

Temporary solution: quote people and then you can see what they've written without opening the spoilers?

Had a bit of a crap start to the morning, but managed to get on with sorting the house a bit, which I'm kind of proud of. Haven't been around much lately I know, but am trying to keep a grip on things. Also going to go visit Sockle in a week's time, so looking forward to that.
