Ah OK, I get the reasoning behind the universities now. In any case, good luck with it.

No Amazon, now is not the time to send me an email concerning your brand new Kindle. I almost **** bricks from the notification.

I would like one of those Whitepaper model Kindles though. They look nice.
I like reading my stories on a paper.

I like reading my stories on a paper.
I like to try new things out. As much as I enjoy the liberty of viewing two pages at once and physically flicking pages, sometimes it's not convenient.

Oh the 2am emails that make you **** bricks!
I got onto track and then received a text message from my uni telling me I got in last year!

I wanted a kobo reader, I dont like kindles! Plus having to pay to remove ads on a kindle - tut tut amazon, shame on you!

Yes, I hated it when I was really poorly at uni and just couldnt go home, because it meant a 10 hr round trip for my dad and £60 in fuel or stupidly expensive train tickets home as well!

Hoping that my course is graded throughout the year so I know roughly what im going to get!

You can call them up and ask to be released into clearing however have a list of unis which will accept you and that you want to go to before you do this.

I dont know how long this will take, however you could possibly know within the same hour or it could take a day or two for all the things to process through onto ucas if you go for a clearing option
So should I ring up other universities before I ask my insurance to put me into clearing or should I go into clearing first?

Kindle, while extremely convenient, doesn't really provide the same pleasant reading experience as reading a paperback. It just doesn't and it never will.
