Ah cool! Yeah, the rooms look ok but the corridors are a bit skanky haha, I'm sure it'll be fine though, looking forward to it what are you studying?
Ohhhh okay, hopefully it'll be alright, I'm so excited I don't even think skanky corridors could get me down hahah! Also are they mixed sex? Cos I've only seen like 2 others in the same block and they were girls so?

French and English what about you?

Yeah I know, doesn't even matter what it looks like we'll be too busy! Oh that's cool, I'm doing English and history

Also at the end of my accommodation application they asked if I wanted same sex or not, and I said no so I think it'll probs be mixed. But they usually put boys on the bottom floor I think.

Hi I've been put in Digby Hall for accommodation, yellow block, first floor, flat 4, room G, anyone near me? also does anybody know how many people which will share a bathroom in there? thanks
I'm in orange block of Digby Hall, ground floor, flat 1 so I'm pretty close to you and I'm assuming it will be about 8-10ish but I'm not sure. Have you seen that accommodation before, I haven't seen it at all so I have no idea what to expect?

So I've been located in the city for my accommodation (Opal Court to be exact).

I was really hoping for acc. in one of the Oadby places (all the city places were my lowest priority choices).

Is there any way I can try to change this by contacting the somebody in the Uni? or is it kinda a lost cause?

I heard Oadby is better for the social side of things and so this is why I was hoping to be there as opposed to the city...

    Any help? Thanks
Hello . I've also been allocated opal court and I looked on the website and apparently it's a little more difficult to be transferred to different accommodation from Opal. Have you looked at private halls? And which block and floor are you?

Indeed haha, yeah I'm quite looking forward to it to be honest, seeing as a converted house with 16 people seems really sociable which is what I wanted, would've hated to be in john fosters as it seemed a bit boring if I'm honest aha

Hey, I've just got accepted to Leicester to do Biological Sciences this year (YAY), and my accommodation offer is in Digby Hall (Blue Block, self-catered), which is great

Nobody's really saying much about Digby or blue block.. what's it like there? I went to the open day but it was months ago and all the accommodation has just blurred together. Somebody's mentioned it's just been renovated or something? Is this true?

Anyone else in blue block this year? I'm in room 1 on the ground floor, ha.

Hey im in blue block too first floor.

    Hey

    I think I'm in 'Block D, Floor 6, Flat 21'.

I heard that Opal was mainly for second years and international students so I was hoping to change to the village as that's where most freshers would be.
