We get all our textbooks for free. And we literally get like 3 or 4 textbooks for most subjects. :/ Hate it when girls don't appreciate them and they lose it. <br />

Your post's coding is absolutely terrible at the moment. <img src="images/smilies/s-smilie.gif" border="0" alt="" title="" smilieid="18" class="inlineimg" /><br />
<br />
Some of ours are around that area. Some of the revision textbooks are £15. <img src="images/smilies/h.gif" border="0" alt="" title="" smilieid="14" class="inlineimg" /><br />
<br />
I won't be burning my university textbooks though. <img src="images/smilies/tongue.png" border="0" alt="" title="" smilieid="5" class="inlineimg" />
<br />
My phone screws up the html when multiquoting.
My revision books cost ne loads!
Yeah uni ones cost a bomb -

Perhaps I should clarify...
We aren't going to burn the SCHOOL textbooks. I still go to a funding, deprived (yet they can afford to organise trips to NASA?) state school.
We're burning our revision textbooks and our work books.
Shouldn't be illegal since bonfires aren't against the law. -

Some departments are stricter than others at my school regarding textbook returns... For example, I managed to gather four GCSE geography textbooks (plus the one I was actually given) in my house and I took my teacher when I found them and she just laughed and told me to bring them back, on the other hand, I told my teacher I didn't have my Spanish textbook because I couldn't find it and a letter went home regarding book fees :/

Well, I don't know about the actively statement. I prefer mine to be accrued through passive income streams.I like actively managing investments as it grants you a greater ability to control your investment capital. My portfolio is currently passive-only because of exams but I plan to be continuously trading whilst at university.

Burning books is great. Someone from my school is making a day of it after exams. Book burning and booze, my idea of heaven

It's only because I have an immense passion for it.I'd probably feel like such a failure when I listen to people talking about how easy the french exam was.

I remember I didn't do my homework in Year 4 and I felt so guilty and did it when I was in Year 6:
Me: "Remember that magnets homework I didn't do, I think you forgot to ask me for it... Here"
Teacher: "We haven't learnt magnets yet? Is this extra work?"
Me: "No you have it in Year 4 but you never marked it..."
Teacher: "Oh yeah! Thanks!"
100% sure that she was pretending she remembered
Posted from TSR Mobilemy teachers are the opposite. My RS teacher hasn't mark three of my projects from year 9. Or returned the one from Year 7. And I put a lot of work into them

We have to hand ours in but unless you're the last group on that syllabus it's a bit of a waste of resources... :s
