@history and joint school peeps (I think this fits for other subjects tbh)

I was procrastinating (see above) and found the interview scoring sheet as used by the tutors. Turns out they do grade your enthusiasm

Me too! I've remembered that I kind of advised the interviewers on how to have safe sex...
I said 'penetrate' real casually - and yes, in a sexual context :afraid:

While i feel my interview went fine, i really regret not socialising more at the jcr. I just found it really intimidating.
Whereas I spent my time either in the Ashmolean or coffee shops with other Classicists, in the JCR playing cards, or touring Oxford and visiting other people's JCRs... Maybe it was just a Corpus thing, but ours was always very very full!

Going to be getting to Oxford (staying at Brasenose) at round 8pm tomorrow. I know this is quite late (travelling after school) so will there be student helpers (etc.) helping at that time?
    Hello itsConnor_,

Our student hosts are helping from 8am until 10pm each day, but our Porter's Lodge is manned 24 hours a day. If you arrive at 8pm then a Porter will summon a student host, who will show you to your room and to the common room where the notice boards are. They'll be lots going on in the common room in terms of evening entertainment. We understand that Mario Kart and Articulate seem to be the most popular, with Bananagrams on the rise!

This is quite interesting. Makes me feel a little more at ease given that everything is taken into account. I recall that last year on TSR people speculated about what they would've got out of 10. I would say 7/10 and 8/10 respectively. Reading that form is quite interesting though. I can't really say whether I think I'll get a HisPol offer because sometimes the college doesn't take anyone for that subject.

Do they have those kinds of sheets for other subjects too? (i.e. Biology...)

For me, it's quite curious that shyness is noted as 'important information' (upper right corner). Let me search on the site to see if they have a numerical score & their equivalents chart!

I don't think it matters if there's college space or not; if they think you're brilliant, they'll pool you to another

The link is above so you can search them yourself, but here are two forms for Medicine.

Yeah true. I'm just worried because they took no-one for HPOL last year.

Mmm I understand, it's the same for me as well; they didn't accept any direct applicants or imports, which is... rather odd, I suppose?

(3 out of 4 were reallocated though, so crossed fingers for both of us )

put in -2,-1,0,1,2 for a rough estimate
pretty sure they didn't want a perfectly accurate graph, a rough drawing would have been enough

I guess it's really hard to predict. They could take 3-4 people or they could take 0. Really hard to tell!
