Improved my PS so I got a Cambridge interview.
    Got me a boyfriend.
    Got me a fling.
Made me some friends before coming to uni.
Probably helped in getting me JCR Vice President (from being friends with people in all years).

Err.. Not much. Except being annoyed at many people, a lot of trolls dwell here. A lot of them are misogynist trolls. I'm beyond sick of gender wars. But I've met some very cool people as well.
What have you expected to find at a student forum? Gender wars is for teenagers. let them do their thing and don´t be annoyed. try to smile. you will find amusing statements exactly in these childish threads. funny to just read it sometimes.

I have forgotten to mention that I also learned something about the royal family in Norway and in which aspects they are different to the British royals.

It's turned me into a grammar nazi. For example when seeing the title of this thread I felt a compulsion to tell you the "T" in "TSR" stands for "The" and so "The TSR" is incorrect. Why I'm wasting my time telling you this, I have no idea. I guess it's the TSR effect, or maybe I'm just a tit.

It's like when people say "PIN number"......AAAARRRGHHHH!!
I'm presuming other abbreviations such as "LOL, EMA, FYI, UNI" etc also irritate you.

You do realise we don't solely exist in the internet and are real too?
But girls being on the internet is only due to (and was probably the reason for) Web 2.0

ergo girls on the internet can only be 8 or 9 years old max.

I've met some absolutely lovely and supportive people, who are completely understanding and knew what to say to make me feel a tiny bit better when I eventually got my rejection.

Also, it's wonderful to be able to talk to like minded people, and some threads are really genuine and insightful like the Letter to your Younger Self thread. I like that.

Well, I'm willing to concede my theory may have contained some small holes but I was probably only off by +/- 10 years or so

You obviously haven't heard of rule 34... i.e. if it exists, there is porn of it on the internet.

Pretty sure I am girl too! Or maybe I'm my twin brother, pretending to be his twin sister. You can never know, but that would be rather creepy.

personal statement, help with applying to ucas as I dont go to a college. Also seek some intelligent opposing opinions opposite to the ones I have which destroys my beliefs and their validity which I feel is important for peace of mind.

Did you meet someone here, learn something here, or become inspired by TSR?

Personally I have learned to be a lot less hot headed in my replies to people. When a post annoyed me because it seemed stupid, I used to respond in a negative way. TSR (especially the rep system) has helped me to be more considerate.

    PS.
Please give examples and explain your answer if you wouldn't mind.
