    Guys, here it is:

You are offered one of two; what would you rather take -

    - The most beautiful female (in your eyes; your dream woman) who has the same interests as you and is characteristically compatible with you and wants to get married,

    OR,

    - A £50million Kensington mansion, fully stocked, coming with a Maybach 62S, a Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster and a Maserati Quattroporte GTS. The catch is that you are not permitted to sell/let the house, or its assets or the cars until after 30 years; you also only get the above - you don't actually get any money (i.e. asset-rich; cash poor - unless you decide to work).

    What would you take?
Pretty much already have the second (okay maybe not £50 mill but you get the idea. And I don't have a maybach or a maserati (dead average cars tbh)) so I'll take the first in the form of one Taylor Alison Swift.

Interesting choices everyone - keep 'em coming!

I think I might continue these either/or threads - they're fun (and insightful?)!

This is actually a difficult choice for me. I am leaning toward the girl though to be honest. While I don't know what having a mansion + fast cars is like, I'm more curious as to what true love feels like (assuming that this girl would be my soulmate). Plus, that kind of bond would probably bring more happiness in the long run than the feeling of loneliness only accentuated by the mansion I'd live in.

I'd take the girl as I probably wouldn't be able to pay the costs to maintain such a house if I don't actually get any money.

Plus you can't have sex with a stunning house
Exactly, plus I'm one of the opinion that materialism doesn't actually make us happy... In fact it's scientifically proven that in the long term you're no happier. A girl like that would make me happy.

I mean surely the ultimate goal in life is to feel satisfied and happy? If so the answer would appear obvious to me.

Imagine how hurt the gold-digger would be, she thought you were cash rich, when your not. She thought she'd be walking round in Chanel when in fact she's gotta work at tesco to pay the bills.

The irony is a source of great humour.
