    Its safe to say you would be a bit fearful of leaving him!

    But yes, it was a choice to stay and it was a choice to go ahead with that stupid idea to burn a house down with your children in (joining in rather than just not trying to stop it) so I agree with the sentence.

    Yep, and look what he did because of it...

    I believe his intention was her to get blamed for the arson so he could retain custody of her children.

    But yes, it must have taken a lot of courage to get away from him :/ I'm glad he didn't get a chance harm her or her children as well.
