It's obvious to see she changed the fortunes of the country.
Britain was in terminal decline.. It can be said that we still hadn't 'found a role'

The economy doubled in size, but agreed she shouldn't get a state funeral.. Cause too much animosity. I just hope her funeral isn't targeted by the RIRA or anarchists.

They did announce that she had 'left' a 60m+ million account .. So I'm guessing it will be taxed.
Regardless it's stupid to jump to assumptions. Surely she changed the fortunes of the country (neutrally speaking) so saved billions of pounds etc surely 3m is worth that

That's debatable - at the expense of a large population in the UK, she benefited the others. It reset the UK, which it needed, but was it worth isolating such a population? We'll never know if there was an alternative. Does that justify any politician then for a state funeral just because they made a profit for the UK then?

    It wasn't just a 'profit'
    It was a reversal.

It doesn't mean it is right, and in hindsight I did seem quite conservative, however regardless she made tough decisions for right or wrong - which HAVE to affect someone or we would continue... She has to tread on people's toes to change Britains path (for good or for bad)
Does that deserve a state funeral? I would say so... She is one of the most famous prime ministers. Regardless - and surely this argument could be said about many people "should they deserve to..." In reality what does it matter. 3m is nothing in reality when the government disregard billions on reforms because they are 'petty' (1.5bn on means tested benefits was cast aside)

I tried to write this neutrally, I have respect for her as a person because I find strong qualities in her (vision, hardiness etc) but haven't paid much attention to her policies etc due to the classic debate which is boring - she was a true leader (and woman) so I would say on that grounds she deserves it.
