# OCR MEI AS Mathematics Core 1 13/05/2013 watch

1. I can't remember what question I got the answer for, but did anyone get an answer for one of the questions (I think in Section B) to come out as (1 +/- root57) / 4 ?
2. The rearranging bit - did anyone put the square root as positive because r was greater than 0 ?

5. I'm not sure for which question, but did anyone get an answer like (1 +/- root57) / 4 ??
6. What did people get on the circle question? I couldn't find out where the circle intersected the y axis so I used the formula and got 2+root11 and 2-root11. Did I get this completely wrong? Gah I'm scared.
7. Sorry I didn't mean to post two similar ones twice, I didn't think the first post went through :P sorry
