Hi everyone

Does anyone have any predictions for the 6 mark questions for these exams? Do you feel prepared?

sources understand that the 6 marker that includes quality of written english is about 'THE RATE OF REACTIONS'

I'm more worried considering there's probably two 6 markers per paper now.

I just hope they aren't as random and vague as the diffusion question that came out of nowhere on B2.

do you think the c2 paper might have 2 6-markers like the B2, and a lot 'how science works' questions? I don't really know how to revise for that, and analysing graphs/results just drains life out of me.
I hope there isn't a 6 marker on something vague like on the B2 paper (diffusion). We only got taught the definition and what can and can't diffuse through cell membranes :/
Fingers crossed it's mostly just factual, knowledge-testing chemistry stuff, then I'll be fine.

in the exam in c3 energy calculations are you given the formula for q = mc delta time for energy and/or the units?
The T stands for temperature, not time.

And probably not, it's usually given in the question. What units do you not know in that equation? Energy is measured in joules, temperature in either K or degrees C and mass in kg.

Am I the only one who actually likes the six mark questions? I feel like they're the only ones that actually bother to test you on what you learnt, not some crap about ethical issues or reading graphs.

think there's quite a good chance that the paper will have 2 6 markers seems to be the trend this year with there being more longer style questions.hope the questions aren't vague but most of the other AQA exams i've done have been

No, actually, I get p***ed off. I would rather do something difficult and experience the satisfaction of being able to answer it with no problems.

To be honest, I think that there might be a comparision question on gas chromotography and paper chromotography, like which one is more efficient.
