Reminder that the mezzil once argued that the people of India deserved to be killed and enslaved by the British Empire because they were 'selfishly hogging their resources' and should have just shared them with us to begin with.
I didn't see that - I'm not surprised though.

To be fair, I don't think he was suggesting forced termination á la Nazi Germany.
To be honest I don't really care that much what he thinks - I just think that if you are going to complain when people generalise about UKIP, you can't generalise about socialism.

Yeah his reasoning was that because land belongs to everyone the British were totally justified in sending an army in to kill and enslave the population and then taking it by force because they should have just given it to them anyway. Those priceless mezzil moments eh?

He's just been banned . Alas, he'll be back soon - spreading his badly-researched, offensive nonsense.

So suddenly when it suits him private property doesn't exist and land is meant for everyone. Sounds about right for a right-winger. They love a bit of the old heads I win tails you lose

I thought it was just me.

Ah well, 19 or 17 (my original guess) perhaps he'll start reading more widely. There's time. I'd expect a more sophisticated understanding of the differences in viewpoints of right-wing parties from a 12-year-old brought up by SWP parents, though.

If you genuinely need to be told that mocking his death isn't the standard socialist response, I feel sorry for you. And lets not pretend that there wouldn't have been people on the right making jokes if a socialist had been killed instead. People are just dicks that way.

I'm not the one suggesting to save the polar bears in order to eat rich kids.
Neither is anybody in this thread, you do realise that?

Socialist worker = socialist party.
No, the Socialist Worker is the publication of the Socialist Workers Party.

(Original post by the mezzil)
Well that's a blatant lie.
Oh really?

Right? So because I said "yourself" you think I'm a retard?

You do realise I don't try or intend to have scholarly political debates that I have at University? I write on TSR in very simple terms. As I said, you know nothing about my "political acumen".

Many people on TSR are scumbags. I treat them as such.
No, an estate agent. I don't use that word, but thanks for demonstrating my point again.

Yes, you write on TSR in very simple terms, and seem honestly confused when people pick up on your undeveloped arguments. It's as if you don't realise you're oversimplifying... Are you going to start linking to photos of your A-level results now?

I was referring to the paper. Those in argument with me clearly support this, even if they have not explicitly said so. Defending the socialists and thus the socialist paper is defending the comments in the paper itself.

If this was someone like Farage talking about a socialist kid, you would all be up in arms. How come you aren't? Because you are bigots. Simple.
Unbelievable :facepalm2:

I'd certainly agree that Nigel Farage, leader of UKIP, represents UKIP, and would condemn UKIP accordingly. I just wouldn't use any of the very dodgy things I have found in UKIP publications to condemn all conservatives. Which is what you did.

I must be a paragon of neutrality.

I think i should screenshot the thread, print it, and frame it. I think people I know will have a laugh at the idea of me ever defending the SWP or its paper.

I still don't understand. I am not an estate agent, and if a use "overly sophisticated" words, it does not mean I am a retard.

Nobody has picked on any holes though? True?

I'm not confused by your argument, I just don't agree with you. Problem?
You're not using "overly sophisticated" words. You're defiling the English language, by misusing reflexive pronouns. But you think you're being sophisticated. And we can all tell that's what you think. It's like reading a post by Hyacinth Bucket of Keeping Up Appearances

In reality, you sound like a particularly irksome, ignorant estate agent.

This may help: http://www.quickanddirtytips.com/edu...grammar/myself
The Socialist paper has wrote some outrageous comments. True or not? Therefore, as this is the mouth of the Socialist party, it shows how extreme and vile they really are. True?
False. The Socialist Worker is a paper. It apparently features a deliberately outrageous column signed by someone called Troublemaker. The Socialist Worker is the mouth of the Socialist Worker Party.

The SWP was dismissed as a bit extreme by my mother after a few meetings. She is in her fifties now and can't operate Windows Vista, so this is not the stunning news you think it is.

Mezzil is just sad because he saw a dead dog on the street and therefore reached the logical conclusion that all dogs were dead. That kid just loves dogs.
What's the difference between this thread and an SWP meeting?

Spoiler:
Show
Someone made a joke in this thread.

Sure, I'm with you on that. It's much better to tackle individual issues independently rather than dismissing entire ideologies.
