The thread title is "What unis have the poshest students?". Royal Ag is a university (uni) and therefore should be included.
RAC is indeed by all accounts dwedfully posh.

Has anyone mentioned Edinburgh so far? They have that rep.

It's not that you don't go to Oxbridge, it's just the reverse snobbery that is ridiculous. Trust me, if you were intelligent enough to go to Oxbridge, you would want to.
I'm not being snobby at all. Please read my other posts, I've explained already.

"you were intelligent enough to go to Oxbridge, you would want to" That's why I had to say what I did in my original post, because people like to assume that just because I don't praise Oxford and Cambridge, I'm just bitter that I can't get it. No, they just don't offer what I'm passionate about.

Well I went to a school called Charterhouse and it wasn't a college, it was an all-through school. Who is this person you know?

I just asked my brother who goes to Bristol uni and does engineering. He said there are not many. Hmm. Bristol Uni may have been known for taking mostly private students in the past but now it is changing. They are doing so many schemes and programmes to change that and it is happening. Its not that poshy imo.

Haha! I know a few people who went and are going to Durham. They never applied for Oxford or Cambridge... I don't see what's so great about those universities. All they say to me is "boring". I heard that even their freshers week isn't even that great, and the following week everyone's huddled up in the library... Neither even offer the course I'm going to do at a different university, if they did, I know I would get in but I'd never apply to those. I'd stick out like a sore thumb :ahee:
Wow that's incredible you must be super smart! Which admissions tutor was it that personally told you this?

Love your sarcasm. Please read what I said again. The uni's don't offer what I'm passionate about. So how does that make me less intelligent for not going?

Well you can't really say something like that and expect people to take you seriously. I was only really referring to the "if they did, I know I'd get in" part, which you really have no way of knowing. Someone of the intelligence (and not simply passion) required by Oxbridge -which you claim to have- probably wouldn't tell people on the internet that they defo would get into Oxbridge lmao.
Never said that you're any less intelligent for not going, b

So can it be concluded that the posh/rah people who don't get into Oxbridge generally go to Bristol/Durham/St Andrews and if not then Leeds/Newcastle or Edinburgh if they're a bit adventurous going North of the border?

I said it because I know people like you would most likely say that I'm jealous of Oxbridge students. I'm really not lol. So to save that trouble I said that. Yeah, I understand it does sound big headed but I didn't intend for it to be. There's a difference when you apply for an academic or creative course. As what I'm going to do is a creative course, and something I'm passionate about and talented in, I reckon I could get in. It's mostly based off of personal credit as well as UCAS points for creative courses. I don't like to underestimate myself or say "I'm not good for Oxbridge." Anyone could be.
