Hey, I'm looking to do animation as well! Coincidence or just the fact that animtion would be awesome, eh?

That truly sounds epic. And I never heard about the comics module, this news is great! I also like the flexibility and freedom they seem to give.
Also, thanks for the blog, she really does have wonderful stuff there, I love the flow of animations.

I say it's fate! Animation's awesome - we're awesome, the stars are aligned.

I want to get hyped up about it but I also don't, in case I don't get in.

But that theory sounds solid. Come on stars, do your thing.
Reply 83
I was thinking the same thing, but then I thought, if there is no one to nag the stars, they won't do their job. And if they don't anyway, well, there's always next year.

Yeah, I'll hopefully go to college for a portfolio course for a year.

Pretty please stars though this would be good thx <3
If I don't get in, my backup is to study Computer Games Development (level 6) for a year at college. That way I save my funding, and I get to study programming and such as well in case I decide to go down the computing route. Though I'd much rather get an offer. :c

Not sure what I'll do if I don't get in. I don't have SAAS funding for college any more (Only Uni) so it'd cost a lot for me to fund the second year of the course I'm on now, and it's harder to get into 2nd year at DJCAD than 1st year. I'd probably take a year out and save up. Same as you all though, I'd seriously rather get an offer! It's a shame we didn't all hear back today, but congrats again to those who did.

Also I posted a link to my friend in second year's blog earlier but it's still being approved by a mod, so if that pops up randomly that's why!

This demands a prayer circle. xD

Oh, I was thinking about taking that as backup, but then realised programming was involved and slowly backed away from the idea. Also I'm from Poland, so I don't know how it would have worked out for me.

Uh, the funding policy is confusing. What course are you on now?

I think I'm planning on getting a UCAS Extra option for Teesside in case I get a rejection. It's a tougher option since I'd probably have to pay back the tuition fees, but they also give some opportunities for extra funding and all.
This waiting's gonna be the death of me

Me too! A guy in my class got a conditional for first year at 5:30 as well, he just found out there.

Also I'm studying HNC Illustration at the moment, my goal has always been DJCAD but I left school early so I didn't have the qualifications I needed, so I've been doing this course to hopefully fix that.
Reply 91
I have the qualifications so its all down to how my work is. I think its ok but I can only hope :frown:

I'm still unsure about what I want to specialise in, almost everything sounds great to me  ! - that's why I think the variety and choices are great.

My insurance would have been to take a gap year and save up since I only applied to my two favorites Dundee and Edinburgh.

Thanks Makker and Keilidh  Today is hopefully a good day for offers guys, hoping really hard you all get to do what you want

Reading this thread really helped me live through the horrible wait that hopefully comes to an end for all of us soon  !

I've already had a gap year so I'm super ready to get back to work! Art is more fun than waitressing :P

thank you! I really hope it is too!
Reply 94
I wish you all luck as well!
My stomach's clenching quite a bit now - today's the last day at school, people keep mentioning exams, so Dundee chose a perfect time to start giving out offers, hah
And haha, I agree, I was always a bit scared of doing waitressing. :P
Reply 95
I would be kind of scared about waitressing too.. I would probably bump into people or let stuff fall when it gets hectic

I've been working at McDonald's for two years now and it's not the best thing in the world either.

Edit: Nyriel, great that its your last day! Mine was a while ago and I strangely miss school haha. My last exam (philosophy with oral assesment) is next week, I get the feeling that others have their exams much later? (I'm from germany)

I work at a local place so it's not crazy like some of the restaurants you see in cities. And everyone knows me so they're all pretty friendly. It is still fairly tiring walking around everywhere and taking orders. :/

Ive got my first exam tomorrow so I really hope we hear back today. Not going to be able to focus at all on studying let alone the actual exam!

Its also coming up to lunchtime guys, this is when people started hearing yesterday I think :s-smilie:

I heard back 18:29 to be exact, but I don't know how and when the admissions team works !
