Maybe that they will send invitations now that a lot of us have received their offers. Fingers crossed...

First because I prefer to be in London and I really liked UCL on the open day ! I am not really into small campuses where you are always in the same environment ! And also it is way more famous than Warwick internationally which matters to me as I am an international student

That's what most British people tell me but I get different opinions from other people which makes the decision difficult ! Any it depends on whether I will start working after my degree or study at a grad school in the uk (in this case Warwick wins) or if I study in France or the US (where Warwick is unheard of unfortunately ...)

    Not true.

Warwick grads end up in top US MBA programs, masters programs and in top companies (usually within tech/finance) over there. I guarantee you, the top universities in the US will know all about Warwick.

From my experience, if people [in the US] know about UCL they tend to know about Warwick too. Otherwise, they'd just cling on to the 'London' section of UCL's name without having any knowledge about the university itself.

(Sorry for butting in, just wanted to clear up the misinformation)

Known or not, in rankings UCL does better than Warwick (also for economics).

By saying this, don't mind me, I love Warwick and I'm probably gonna firm it, but you can't say that internationally it is more recognized than UCL.

League tables =/= international recognition. Simple as that to be perfectly honest.

And no, I was rebutting the person saying it was 'unheard of' in the US. When I personally have seen tonnes of Warwick grads head over to the US to study and work.

It really depends on what you want to do with your student life.
Do you want to join one a Uni in London or in Reims?
Do you want a deep understanding of 2 matters or to study numerous subjects with a lesser sense of specialisation?
Do you want to do 3 years of 5 years of study to be competitive on the job market of the country in which you are studying?
    Plus many other questions.

I know that Sciences Po is famous for the collusion and the sense of superiority that their students sometimes have (which does not prevent them from being morons). It sure is a revered institution but is probably way more valuable for a masters degree than for the three first years. Anyway, your access to a master is guranteed if you do well during your time at the "Collège Universitaire".
A friend of mine dropped out of Sciences Po because she hated the people there: too much proud of themselves and disconnected from reality. Another guy that I know, who is currently at Poitiers, was the purest example of intellectual vacuity.

If you go to Sciences Po, cross your fingers to get on with the right people.

When will UCL finish processing all applicants?
As there are 30 applications per place (well, it was the case for the 2015 entry), they sure have to take some time to evaluate everyone.
But it should not be way longer now, as quite a lot of people have received offers or rejection notifications.

I quote their description of the application process:

"Our degree programmes attract a large number of well qualified applicants so it may be some time before we can give you a decision. We shall, however, endeavour to consider your application as quickly as we can. It is quite usual for some applicants to hear sooner than others, but this does not mean that if you do not receive a quick response that your application will be unsuccessful. The majority of programmes at UCL use a 'semi-gathered field' whereby an admissions tutor will wait until a sufficient number of comparable applications have been received to make a decision. This will involve several such 'fields' between September and April."

    Hope this helps a little.
