Haha possibly, I guess new threads were being made. At least we're keeping this thread visible.
    - If no one replies, it means that there is no interested user present
    - There can only be so many threads visible
    - Only threads with genuine replies should remain visible

"bump" is not a genuine reply and can be considered spam. By self-spamming, you are preventing other threads users might be interested in from being visible. Your actions are thus contrary to the rules of TSR and liable get a warning.

    Lol!

I suppose with Sikhs, the problem is what other party can they really support?

Congress? - well 1984 springs to mind.
BJP? - seen as an exclusively Hindu party.
Aam Aadmi Party bro, AAP ZINDABAD. They're the only party I'd vote for tbh.

This is what we were talking about the other day. Why the BJP needs to crack down on the fringe and become a truly national party.

BJP has some Sikhs and Muslims in the party, but it needs to generally make itself more accessible to Non-Hindus (in image and in substance). The loonies alienate Non-Hindu communities which leaves them open to exploitation by the likes of SAD/Congress/PDP, etc.
    So, so true.

The delay on speaking and/or the total silence by Modi condemning these incidents doesn't exactly help either.

Ok long story cut short, some idiots decided it would be a good idea to go into a gurdwara and tear up the Guru Granth Sahib. For Sikhs, this is about as disrespectful you and can get and so, they wanted to know who did it.

Police said 'nah lads, we cba to find out'. Sikhs decided to PEACEFULLY protest. Police, majority of which are also Sikhs, were ordered by the authorities to use live rounds to disperse crowds, during which 2 died and dozens were injured.

Protests are widespread right now in Punjab, Indian media are doing naff all and police brutality is widespread. During all of this, western bloody media havent even reported on Bapu Surat Singh, an 82 year old man whos been on hunger strike (due to polic brutality and unfairness against Sikhs) since January 2015 and is barely alive right now.
I don't mean to be disrespectful, but Europe has been having its own problems recently what with sword attacks, migrant crises, accidents and human rights abuses, not to mention the Middle East and the American police shootings and school massacres. Regional unrest and police brutality in India is a daily occurence, there's an escalating civil war going on in the Eastern states which some Indians don't even seem to know much about, plus the Maoist insurgency which kills several people per year. Oh and we've also had the atheist blogger murders in Bangladesh which were partly organised by British islamists. So two people being killed by police in Punjab is not relevant news for a British audience in comparison to any major international events which have been reported on in the past few weeks.

The 'media blackout' is not a conspiracy, it's just reality that regional unrest in developing countries is so common and widespread that if it doesn't involve British citizens, or involve some kind of genocide or parliament coup, it is not worth reporting on. Just be thankful that it is not bad enough yet to be reported in Western media, and pray that the world can remain blissfully unaware of it until a solution is found.
