There's loads of mental maths in the non calculator paper anyway - they use paper 1 to test your maths and paper 2 to test your logic and application of the maths you use imo
I hope they add those questions in non calculator where they ask you to work out volume in terms of pie.

i did the 2015 paper for my mock and didn't find it bad at all. i got 179/200 which was an A* (91 in calc and 88 in non-calc) and thought that most of the questions on there were just like any other questions on previous exams. i think the problem with hannah and her sweets alongside other questions was the non-specificity of the question i.e. with hannah and her sweets, you were presented with some probability and then hit with algebra that seemed to have no correlation. however, working through it step by step shows that it was just simple algebra that required a little more logical thinking.

What do you need to get an A grade? What's the highest boundary they can put.

Oh my life, I never even attempted the circle theorem question because I didn't have enough time to go back and the surds question at the end i didn't have enough time 😭😭😭oh god why me. I also got the first question wrong I got 75pi don't know how...the simultaneous equation also made no sense to me, I don't want to repeat maths!!!! 😭😭😭

Don't worry, just look forward and revise for your upcoming exams. Worrying just makes things worse.
