I love how nearly everyone on this thread is using it to boast about their wealth. We don't all live in 500k houses you know.
    Self selective group.

No one pipes ups to say they live in a Housing Authority Flat.

"My home probably costs 90k, I dunno, 'cos I rent it" isn't fun to type.

(I rent my one bed flat too, so I'm just jealous of them aswell)

Lol, most of the 1mil numbers are in small homes in central London. And there's no need to be so condescending, just put down your data if you want or don't - no one's forcing you to read the thread.

My house was 75k in Nov 12 when we bought it. Zoopla estimates 83k now. I reckon more because it no longer smells of **** and dogs.

It is a lovely, spacious 2 bed terrace close to transport, just outside Leeds.

I don't think you realise what state house prices in London are in. £500000 is probably below the London average.

    £600-700k I think, 3 bed semi-detached house, 1.5 bathrooms (in Croydon).

Well the Bulgarian house is cheap- 400,000 EUR 5 bed, 2 bathroom
The English house is, I think £400,000 4 bed and 2 bath?

Edit: I was glancing over the other posts and I'm shocked. For something like 100,000EUR get's you a nice 3 bedroom flat in the Bulgarian version of Kensington right in the city centre. What the heck...even our second property, it's not in the city centre, but it's in one of the most expensive parts of the city (Boyana) and only cost 200,000EUR...I'm confused af

Edit 2: I now realise the UK and Bulgaria are COMPLETELY different countries...

Meh, it's kinda like Croydon without the London. Although we might have a few more hookers up here

I literally am clueless about English geography. I literally thought Liverpool was in the south until a few weeks ago.
