4. (Original post by Mayfate)
Wasnt that the ultra sound? where the distance was 40cm and you had to convert it to 0.04m?
Correct, but it was 0.8 because the wave had to travel there and back
5. (Original post by SmithAmelia)
It was the earth wire
"...the earth terminal is connected to the metal casing so that the current goes through the earth wire instead of causing an electric shock." - Bitesize

Yes therefore you have to divide this by 2 to get the real distance right, and not the double distance right?

Well the live wire is the wire thats connected to the fuse. The fuse is to the right and the live wire is to the right soo yh. The live wire also has a brown colour

It was 100% the live wire!
15. Anyway I still found that hard not taking it next year but was looking at an A. Not to confident now
16. (Original post by TrumpIsFancy)
should be something like 40 for an A* as it was 41 for A* in 2013 and it was easier imo
Yeah but you know how AQA are nowadays lol
17. For the ultrasound q wasn't it the speed between detector a and b
So because they give you the distance 4.0 cm you divide by 2 and convert into metres
Then divide by 50*10^-16
I got 4oom/s
