# Predict your A/AS level Mathematics UMS! watch

1. (Original post by Chittesh14)
No, as in overall for the whole A-level /600.
But still wow lol, that's so op. At least you still got A* (I can tell) lucky that C4 was just 84 lol and not 79 xD.
Yes.. very lucky (and proof for some that you don't need 90 or more in both C3 and C4 )

Here is my results slip on a different thread if you are interested.

Yeah, you just need to average 90 across the 2 modules, which is good .
3. Got 93 in S1 in the bank. I'm an U6th student needing an A for Uni
C1: 87/100
C2: 95/100
C3: 77/100
C4: 83/100

Got S2 tomorrow.

Oh wow, great results man! Just missed out on Further Maths because of FP2? ...
562/600 = average of nearly 94 marks, wow man!!! Amazing results!

Thanks yeah.. A* would be nice but no complaints from me
6. C1:100
C2:100
C3:99
C4:99
FP1:99
FP2:95
M1:99
M2:78
S1:96
S2:tmr will know!
7. I'm either going to get a B, which will leave me bitter for a long time, or JUST get an A by the skin of my teeth, which will honestly be the biggest relief of my life.

I smashed M1, which filled me with confidence and had me shooting for an A* this year.
Then I choked really badly on C3, and somehow one of my answers for C4 was wrong (as well as not being able to do the last 7 marks of the vectors). I'm really envious of the mathematical dexterity of those who managed to do well in the core units.

I'm so glad the grade boundaries are released the day before results day. I've heard mixed responses to all of these exams, they could go in either direction or not change at all.

When I open the envelope I'm going to cover up the grades and just add up the module scores. This will lessen the impact like a crumple zone. All I can do is hope for the best.
8. Unit/Predicted/Actual
C1/100/100
C2/90/95
C3/95/?
C4/90/?
M1/50/77 I made some stupid mistakes last year, like doing things in the wrong direction
M2/80/?
S1/?/? No idea how well I did but I don't really need to do well in this for an A* in maths
S2/?/? Sitting exam tomorrow, need 90 ums for an A* probably
FP1/90/92
FP2/80/?
D1/80/80
D2/90/100
9. Is it possible to get an a* in further maths, and an a in normal maths? (edexcel)
10. C1 - anything from 75 to 85 (predicted 90+)
C2 - 90+ (predicted 80+)
M1 - anything from 85 to 95 (predicted 80+, before the exam I predicted myself 60+!)

I know I've got an A, just the UMS is worrying me a bit in terms of predictions.

Will be retaking C1.

Yeah

Arsey isn't here to provide them

A* in Maths - 480 UMS or more overall and 180 or more from C3 and C4 combined.

A* in FM - 480 UMS or more overall and 270 or more from 3 A2 units combined.

So you could have a nightmare in C3 or C4 and do well in your Further Maths units and that'll be that.

thanks for your reply, so, just to comfirm, it is possible to get an a* in further, and an a in regular maths?

I would think so.

17. Over 9000
Spoiler:
Show
All would be in the 90s range apart from say M3 which I'm just hoping I'm not lower than 85

No worries. All you've got to do now is help me get it

Lol, if we take the most optimistic scores - you've hit 270 UMS. So, it's not looking bad at all... just retake C1 and you'll be fine as we said earlier. But, you wanted to go Cambridge right?

Oh ffs, so 90+ average across the whole of A2 - seems like Further Maths is a way bigger and tougher challenge than Maths lol.
