Most of the time it is at least officially not about wages; was the doctor strikes officially about pay? How about all the times the teachers strike? TfL strikes? If there is one thing the public sector is good at it's striking, and people will never be happen until they get the service for free.

You make a great point, it isn't always pay and can include unsociable working hours, long shifts or anything else that one may find inconvenient.

Without being offensive i think that's far more true of Ukip, Labour and the Socialists than the Tories, Liberals or on here Greens (RL certainly, their nutty) on here (though i acknowledge that Labour is split between the likes of you and ideologues)..
I think it's found all over the place, including in the Tories. You're probably one of the Tories who's occasionally surprising viewpoint suggests they're guided by what they actually think and not what they think they have to think.

In RL it is but even on here Jammy agrees with me like 80% of the time and in rhetoric at least he's the type you'd expect.

I think Ukip kind of hollowed out those kinds of people from us personally.

I think it speaks volumes that he's the example you chose to defend the Tories.

You might be right about that actually.
