Nice work, single looked far from maximal.


I've attempted and failed 100kg many times since May

However today

100 X 1 incline



Followed by 100 X 2 on flat



Both PRs
Also the lightest I've done 100kg on flat

Currently 79.00 exactly



I attribute my increases to form, keep feet flat, stable back

My progession today was

Incline BB

Barbell x 10 reps
60 X 4
80 X 2
90 X 1
100 X 1

I feel getting to 100 first allows me to fire myself into action

Then

90 X 5
90 X 5

PR For both



First set shown . Fueled by monster

Then I just did loads of sets of 60 with minimal rest times

I've also stopped training legs and deadlifts so I can focus on my upper body

That's why I can handle such high volume and frequency for bench as my body isn't recovering from a heavy leg session

Happy considering I'm also losing bodyweight

But gone revising is only person who reads my blog 😂

And so I only post stuff I want to track like my bench

Also ordered a blue slanger

Ok so yesterday was "low volume" back day

Deadlifts
60 X 5
100 X 5
140 X 1
150 X 1
160 X 1

Had cleanest 160 recently so went for 180

Didn't budge lol

140 X 8
160 x 3

Lat pull downs

4 sets - 10

Row machine

1 arm superset with two arm

5 sets , 8-10 reps

Lat pull downs (different grip)
Superset with more Lat pull downs

5 sets
Do you have a volume back day later in the week, or alternating week by week?

What's in the other? No deadlifts, but with lat isolations? Bis?
Too complicated to explain now lol
