This is also a two-legged affair.

    First leg
    Vatican Athletic 2 - 2 Spotify FC
Vatican Athletic took a 2 goal lead, and completely deominated this match, before a shot from Spotify FC hit the crossbar and went in. This caused Vatican Athletic to lose what control they had, and Joseph Miner simply slotted the ball past the 'keeper for the equaliser.

Matrix FC 1 - 2 Egg United FC
Egg United took the early lead, only for Matrix FC to equalise minutes later. A few minutes after that, and Egg United restored their lead, which they didn't lose.

As Official Loser was away this week due to illness, the team's deputy manager, Unofficial Loser, made the press statement for this match. It reads:
Erm sorry, I haven't done this before. Delighted that the side we put out there today brought back the result we wanted. Obviously, Matrix FC have won only one league match yet so we were hoping to win this one. We are also officially the richest club in the league but that's only because we haven't started wheelin' and dealin' the players yet. Looking forward to the final against Spotify FC don't really know what they're honestly capable of yet to be honest. I hope that Kyx Footballl Association conducts a mandatory test in the cup final as standard practice, because we all want a fair game (particularly here at Egg United). Obviously, Humpty Dumpty might not have to stay sat on the bench in that game but he is prone to injury so we'll see what we can do to best prepare for the final.

When asked about Official Loser's health, Unofficial Loser responded thus:
Official Loser is OK. Obviously, he's a good mate of mine and I wish him well along with all of the Eggs here at the bin. I think he's recovering well, just not feeling great at the minute, but i hope our win will cheer him up.

When asked whether the team were concentrating on the cup, at the expense of the league, Unofficial Loser said:
I think we've got a real chance at the cup, obviously we'd like to get as high a place we can in the league but that's more competitive. Once the cup is finished, the league will be our number one priority.
