The remainers are doing whatever they can to try to prevent us from leaving. We must leave before it's too late!

There is just no need to panic.

The politicians are getting it more, and they would have to be very foolish to reverse this decision, they know if they have any sense that it could cause something far more damaging than Brexit- it could threaten our democracy.

But anyhow, once it becomes crystal clear that this rejection is going on all over the world, and that there are many European countries even more Eurosceptic, the EU, at least in it's current incarnation, will be doomed.

I really think France is going to vote for Le Pen, then vote out.

Holland also. The Italians are very likely going to end up exiting the Euro currency after their referendum.

How are people saying we don't live in a democracy when the people were given the vote. The people voted leave. Now the country has been crying about it for months on end. Let's not forget that MP's voted for the referendum at a ratio of 6:1 in favour of a referendum.

lol Look at some of you lot talking about "sovereignty" like it wasn't the case that 544 MPs versus 53 voted to allow the referendum. How smarmy can you get?

It is moronic to allow our mandate-less prime minister to dictate one of the most important foreign policy situations of our generation with no oversight by our elected representatives. Parliament must debate and vote on the terms of Brexit.
This notion that Parliament must debate and vote on the terms of Brexit is actually a pretty pointless and stupid idea. As argued by the government, it's ludicrous to give a running commentary of our negotiating stance for the whole of the EU to see. Moreover, the terms on which we leave will be largely dependent on the French president and the German chancellor, about 1 week before the 2-year negotiating period comes to an end. Parliament will be completely redundant in this negotiation.
