I am not a fan of his, but I think Kovalainen is a good bet for a win thsi weekend.

Massa has had a problem with his crash, whereas Kimi seems to be his Bahrain/Turkey mode where he just drives for a podium. BMW are nowhere. I doubt Ron Dennis will allow Heikki to lead a McLaren 1-2, but you never know, if Lewser makes yet ANOTHER calamitous error, then he may not be in a position to challenge his team mate.

Ohhh is it raining there? My useless weather prediction is hoping yes, because here, hundreds of miles away, its pissing it down.

basically it ****ing pissed down for ages, but wasn't raining when pracco started or during. started on inters and moved to slickses with about 20 minutes to go. final times suggest there is a bone dry line, albeit one without rubber layed down.

My money is on David Coulthard making the final qualifying session.
At 2/1
Looks a sure bet to me.

Okay just got through the door, was worried I was going to miss quali, I seemed to hit every red light on the way home

Anyway, need to speed read up on Sat Prac too, aah. Who was fastest?

Can't wait to see what goes on here. Have got the feeling McLaren might do what Ferrari usually do; instead of putting Heikki on a heavier fuel load and Lewis on a lighter as usual, maybe put them on the same fuel and try and lock out the front row? Would seem to make sense judging by Heikki's pace yesterday.

I do feel this race could be good for Heikki though, can't see him being allowed to win it though, even with the equal driver status :p:

DC's comments at the start of ITV coverage were decent. "I want a tear in my eye in Brazil because it'll give me a moment. A moment I can look back on and say I've been a decent Grand Prix driver."

and we have rain!
It started raining where I am just as it started there as well. Which is odd as I'm about 2 hours away.
so glad coulthard gained time in the last sector!

So glad DC is through to Q2. Gutted for Button though.

James Allen's awful commentating and constant errors are bugging me. If he doesn't know what he's talking about he should just zip it.
